January Transfer Thread 13:27 - Dec 23 with 2359 views | KeithHaynes | Done some asking and Oli McBurnie is most certainly up for a loan back to the UK this window. I’ve been told four Championship clubs are interested. This will all fall on the fee’s involved plus he is on in the region of €36,000 a week. Big numbers but we know how these things can be negotiated. Do we have the money ? Yes. P&S will need to be positive and only the club really know where we are with that at this moment in time, It won’t be massively healthy. Oli has played fourteen games for Las Palmas this season with no return. He has never been a prolific striker, but could he settle into Luke’s team ?

January Transfer Thread on 13:44 - Dec 23 with 2307 views | ReslovenSwan1 | He has the 'Brewster syndrome' Prolific in senior football only when wearing a white shirt with a Swan of the right side of the chest. He scored a lot of goals for Potter. Memorably Potter told him to cut back on his "all night gaming" in order to crack on as a full professional. Not sure if that was exactly what he meant or was a metaphor. He then moved him on for a whopping £20m. He has not fulfilled his potential. Like Jamal Lowe he had one season alongside Welsh icon Keiffer Moore. [Post edited 23 Dec 17:10]

January Transfer Thread on 14:07 - Dec 23 with 2260 views | Whiterockin | McBurnie has been an unused sub in three of the last six matches, on the bench for the other three coming on for 1 minute 1 minute and 17 minutes. His game time has been reducing since the start of the season. I still think he would be decent for us but not at 36,000 Euro a week.

29 goals in the last six seasons including this one averages out about 5 a season. Under 1 goal in 5 since leaving Swansea.

Not entirely, the Swans were out muscled by cleverer agents at the time, unsure what the deeper details are other than we reported at the time above. I mean Bianchini …

As with Bianchini there are several other routes.

Bianchini WP points in the summer was 10 which let us go to appeal meaning if we signed him then in 6minths he would likely reach 15 points which would mean a WP pass. Ott is currently on 3 WP points and doesn't pass any of the other criteria to be signed as 1 of the 4 non WP slots. I will stand corrected if wrong but this is a no go from all criteria required.

Someone mentioned you gave us the credit for Cabango news yesterday. Thanks for that, we had it direct from the people involved. The Twitter account mentioned was way way after Liam put it on Twitter 👍 Still makes me laugh after all we have disclosed this past three months.

January Transfer Thread on 16:56 - Dec 24 with 928 views | RichardO | I hoping with allthe talk of needed transfers the likes of Bianchini and Vipotnik are given more time to develop, a better service I'm sure would help them, some of the service to them has been poor and at best inconsistent little chipped balls badly placed and differcult to control as they tmove trying to find space and like many of our forwards their runs down channels have largely been opportunities missed. Cabango last season played a number excellent number of balls to Ronald as opposed to the forced ones into the middle of the park in crowded areas. Ronald when he first arrived was fed balls quickly at almost every opportunity now every ball to Ronald seems to have to go through a full back standing two yards away or the full back has to run 10 yards before he is prepared to pass the ball which is slowing down their service dramatically, perhaps it is slowed down to get some support in the middle. Let's not throw the likes of Bianchini and Vipotnik on the dustbin just as they are starting to find their feet in a pretty dysfunctional team at rhe moment.

It was clearly first posted on this site yesterday so can't be taken away. Can only post what is heard, sometimes it happens and a lot of the time it doesn't. We all know some people will always look to knock things and will create a narrative and if you throw enough dirt then it sticks enough for some to believe and we seen that over the years with posters that we are lucky to not have around anymore. Hopefully the Darling contract will move quickly and the board will get a speedy winger, Centre half, midfielder and striker over the line in this upcoming window........they mean business that's for sure.

Sorry but tend to think that we are blaming the wrong people for others peoples bad descions. I really think it is a bad idea to have a sole centre forward tiring themselves out to chase the ball down that is being stroked by a couple of players including the goalkeeper, if the press is really committed to then the full team needs compete for every ball played and not let it be stroked around at ease.As long as we are organised defensively let the goalies come out as far as he likes, they soon get nose bleeds coming out far up the pitch even over committing forward. Vipotnik is never going to do what is being asked of him and be effective in a goal scoring sense, look at the change in Cullen once that he was relieved of that duty, Vipotnik has started scored with the meager service supplied but has had to hold the ball up for the none effective or existent support
