Is he setting himself for a job with the next majority shareholding, could they already own shares. So in theory he is currently working for them. |  | |  |

In our case as long as we comply with ipcc guidelines and provide an accurate and fair representation of the subject matter, which we have, agreements or otherwise don’t come into it. |  |

Well this is my question.
Only plausible reason I can think of is that the club is changing hands and it’s a tentative way of getting it out there without confirming anything.

Heis job is running Swansea city and seems to me to be doing a d cent job. He does not have a limitless budget and he cannot force players to sign new deals.
He is a shareholder of the LLC but he is an employee of the LLC not a decision maker of the LLC. If you want to know whether the club is up for sale it is better to ask the parent company not him. |  |

I've said it before, I think the Americans thought they were getting a stable EPL club for their money. I don't think they unerstood the situation here at all. Most of us could see the drop coming, we saw the gradual fading of our team but Levein etc, they got sold the fairy tale by our previous owners and went with it.
Maybe they thought, being smart alec USa businessmen that they knew better and were certain they were getting something more, more bang for their buck. They're more knowledgeable today, about Uk football, that's for sure.

Wasn’t the season after we were relegated a massive hike in premier league tv rights money? They were looking at that, buy the club, make loads that year. [Post edited 28 Sep 17:19]

Mr Birch is respected throughout the football industry.
Moreover he was an excellent communicator when he was at Swansea.
