I dunno if anyone else has noticed, but all the decent players we’ve had, have all at the very least had transfer rumours linked to their names, with Prowse to West Ham, Livermento to Newcastle, Lavia to Liverpool etc… but these 4 were also players that I think most of us saw as heading off after we went down, yet I’ve seen very little around them on the transfer side.
As both KWP and Kotcha I thought were certain to go, and still kinda do, but just haven’t seen much about them which is quite surprising, and then Adams and Salisu I also thought would have a few lower prem teams interested, but again there’s been very little about them leaving.
So has anyone seen much about them going yet, or do you think we’ll be able to keep a hold of them until at least Christmas? |  |

I suspect the club will want to get rid of KWP, Adams and Salisu as they only have a year left on their contracts.

Most weren't last season but any PL club or European club that is well run will know that there are many in our squad who will be good investments. In 2 or 3 years they could be ever-present PL players and so are worth spending good money on.
A well run club will buy this type of player and integrate them slowly or loan them out. A badly run club will buy 8 or 9 of these players and put them straight in the team all together. | | | |

All the players mentioned anbove are premier league standard apart from Adams who is a good championship player. It’s just that most of them have either a crap attitude or were badly managed and probably lost interest in Saints when the writing was on the wall. If they leave they will end up at decent clubs . As ABK isn't involved in any of the preseason games, RM must know him leaving is an absolute certainty.
The same goes for Salisu (who seems to be off to Fulham), Sulemana, Onuachu and S. Armstrong.
Regarding Perraud, I don't know in which state he is after his injury, so it's hard to know what RM/the club does make of his situation.
As A. Armstrong and Mara are starting games in front of Adams, which surely can't be because of their footballing abilities, it seems likely Adams will leave, but maybe later in the window so he could be included in the first games. Lavia might be the same. I do think they both will leave later in the window though...
And as JWP, KWP, Alcaraz and Livramento even started at Reading and partly did fulfill specialised tactical orders, there might be a chance they'll stay if clubs don't put top prizes on the table.
I'd also guess all four of them would be happy staying, so I think we will only let them go if our very high valuations are met... | | | |
