He was referring to the physicality of that fiery game, with aggressive tackles and managers at each others throats. But ofcourse he is getting slated for saying it.
You can’t say anything anymore when you mention genders, colours, sexuality etc, without being hammered for it! Worst part is that all these forms of discrimination still continue, like they did in the past, it’s just now you’ve also got people taking offence to things that aren’t even any form of discrimination! Smh…
Weren't we repeatedly told not to compare the womans game to the Men's by all and sundry during their Fina's?
Then last week you have the newly famous players moaning about being famous but not having the same money as the men!!
Then we had the gloating about winning a finals that the men hadn't achieved since 1966..but these can't be compared if they stick to the original narrative of not comparing the two competitions on an even basis.

you cannot use the term "man" or "men"!!!
you should say "Person with gonads" for the individuals with Y chromosomes or "Person with no gonads" for wenches or eunochs
Not true Art! Sharron Davis was speaking about 'intersex' athletes recently and all 3 medal winners in the 'Women's' 800m metres in the 2016 Olympics all had internal gonads rather than ovaries. The first actual women finished 4th!
Just a bunch of the lads off for a run:
"Playing Devil's Advocate since 15th January 2014"
I thought he was joking - a radio talk show host on Saturday morning - when he said the NHS have advised that, in order not to upset the trans community, all leaflets given to pregnant women now have to mention 'chest-feeding' instead of breast-feeding.
Seriously, WTF is this country coming to?
I shall soon be asking my local butcher if he's got any fresh chicken chest fillets in stock.
FFS...

It’s the tail wagging the dog. Or should that be ‘bitch’ or maybe even ‘biog’?

He's watching a mans game, what's wrong with his comments? It's factual.
Aluko and other women getting all upset, women's football is a different sport, the women's game, the two sports shouldn't be compared.
Different? So they have different rules? Play on different pitches? The only thing different is that in one the teams are made up of men and in the other they are made up of women. It is no different to tennis, athletics, cricket etc, etc.

Brought to mind a recent quote by my 6 year old grandson to his school friend regarding parental discipline. “You’ve just got to man up, suck it up then crack on with what you are doing.” There is a boy who is rugby as well as soccer mad.
We live in a f@cking dictatorship, we all know that. You can't speak to away fans, person of the match, woman up, gender neutral, sit down, it's a women's game and a f@cking cis gender game, didn't you know? You can't say what you think anymore without getting sacked or f@cking obliterated. Remember, say the right thing, not what you think.

Levels of the game are different, always will be, if Man City played the England Women team they'd beat them at least 10-0, maybe plenty more, if Nadal took on the top women tennis player in the world he'd beat her every day of the week.
That's why comparison between the two is daft.
The BBC employ a woman commentator on MOTD, why?, she's absolutely terrible and thieving a living, sounds like your old Doris shouting from the other room to dry the dishes.

That women on MOTD2 was appalling. It can only be box ticking.
