Very few QPR chants 18:51 - Jul 25 with 3429 viewsHastings_Hoops

Is it just me or do QPR suffer from a very slim selection of songs/chants… can’t help but feel that other than the occasional ‘come on you Rs’ and ‘we are qpr’ which begin ans end very quickly; there’s not much going on in the stands these days.

For the last decade, we’ve not really had a player stay long enough to get a song.

I think a few on here were working on a Dom Ball masterpiece, that's why it was so sad.

Perhaps you need to get to some away games instead of just home. Even so, I duly remember one game where there was a continuous chorus of Warburton's Blue Army that went on for quite a long time.

At away games, the number of different songs is quite significant with various players sung about as well as some more traditional songs. Some are also made up based on what is happening either in the game or in the stands.

So, unless you want to redefine your comment to only be about home games, then I think it is erroneous in the context of signing generally for QPR fans to say that we suffer from a slim selection of songs/chants.

The best song was ‘Paul Ince, is a wànker.’

It was very very loud, and seemed to go on for ages. Deservedly so as well.

Could do with a Scott Parker update that.

Wow ozranger; your pre-supposition escalated into fact very quickly 😏

You’re right, I did only go to three away games past season, Millwall away being the last straw!

I raise you ‘Ashley Cole, you’re John Terry’s bitch’. Sung during that night in North Battersea when he came to warm up down the touchline running towards us. Shortest substitutes warm up I’ve ever seen but the singing lasted a good while.

I have often wondered why we stick the blue flag up their arse, from Stamford Bridge to Wembley , rather than from Stamford Bridge to Loftus Road?

Don't. Just don't. It's still too raw for me.

The scummers, being the thick, unoriginal pig-fùckers they are, just ripped off Billy Bragg's Red Flag and changed the few words they could actually spell, throwing in "Wembley", a place few of them could find, never mind visit.

Raise the scarlet standard high
Beneath its folds we'll live and die
Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer
We'll keep the red flag flying here
