Birch must be dyslexic and thinks we’re getting Lukaku.

Edit: fück me - Gaz_M has downarrowed this. Here's a quid, sunshine - buy yourself a sense of humour.

This guy is not Mcburnie's replacement, he is seen as a winger by the club. The push has been to get someone in with pace to replace Dan James...... This boy is supposedly quicker than James.

No point having blistering speed behind the defence if a high press is removing the space.
We'd be better served by a Poz style player.

From my earlier days I recall Darren Perret.

We didn't press as high as we have in the first half of a number of early games.
James speed was most effective later on or the space was created by other players moving off he ball. For long periods on Saturday there was a very pedestrian look to us.

His style like every other attacking players style will not be suited in every game, it is a squad game and his style will be required at certain stages throughout the season.

Always a good idea to have options.

Agree with that. This kid may be for later on in games when space has opened up, much like DJ started out. Can't see him starting, can you?

Just announced on BBC we’ve signed him season loan

Kalulu revealed that he took advice from former Lyon team-mate and ex-Swan Bafetimbi Gomis before agreeing to move to the Liberty Stadium.

"I spoke a little bit with my friend Bafetimbi Gomis, who played for Swansea," Kalulu told the Swansea website.

"I knew him when we were at Lyon and he told me a lot of good things about Swansea.

"I will let people make up their own minds about me as a player but I am fast, I like to dribble and I want to score goals and make assists.

"I can play anywhere the coach wants me to. I can play as a number nine or as a winger. My best position is behind the striker but I can play anywhere I am needed."

It says nothing about having the option to buy at the end of his loan as been stated in the media reports.
