Ethan Hamilton - Quality. 18:47 - Apr 27 with 3219 views | crazyhorse | He's off back to Man U soon, but his presence in Midfield will be missed, only 20 but he has a presence and looks to lift the players around him. A Team player, positive and humble. He was a major factor of getting us out of the deep hole we were in March. Cracking long-range scorer of goals andI'm sure a potential future Captain. Let's hope we can get him again or BBM gets lucky again and gets another loanee, who also cares about working hard positively, for whichever badge he is playing for. [Post edited 27 Apr 2019 19:43]

Hamilton and Landell in particular have added a real quality to our team, would love to see both back next season.

It's rare you see loan players putting in genuine graft every game, and a willingness to potentially get hurt throwing themselves into hard tackles all game long. Both lads are a credit to themselves and their clubs, absolute class from Hamilton and EEL from the minute they came here.
Ethan Hamilton - Quality. on 19:49 - Apr 27 with 2879 views | 49thseason | BBM let the cat out of the bag in one of his early interviews when he said we were one of "the smaller tea ...clubs" in the division. Physically we have suffered from simply not being able to compete man for man in a division were everyone we play has seemed like extras from n episode of land of the giants. The younger and more lightweight players have missed out recently and the results have improved this is not a coincidence. The last 10 games have been a battle requiring men not boys and fortunately the men have turned up when needed. The lesson for next season is obvious, bigger lads are better than small ones. The summer will be interesting.

Saw Hamilton in the end of the year presentation. Actually a lot taller than I imagined looking him on the pitch A genuine talent. Clearly not ready for ManU and although they may want to loan him to a higher level club than us, at least we have the advantage of probably giving him plenty of minutes on the pitch next season. May be clutching at straws but would love to see him with us next season

I am really looking forward to the close season and who BBM brings in. I think we have a number who are surplus and a major trimming of the squad is needed. Maybe jt back as a coach, lonergan as keeper and coach, would love Jones back as a coach but maybe he has moved on. A lot depends on alby and loans for the season, but I see a squad trimming, with maybe 3 or 4 signings, but we need a young cf as hendo and alby can’t keep carrying so much at their age.
