On the assumption that he’s guilty then:
1. He should be sacked.
2. Those closest to him should do everything possible to get him fixed; he obviously has issues.
3. He should be handed the maximum possible sentence and fine, if that’s a custodial sentence then so be it. I’m not familiar with drink drive punishments.
4. He should make a large contribution to a charitable cause associated with road safety.
5. He should crawl under a rock for the remainder of his life. |  |

Nah, the British public love him, he's one of those "national treasure" types, that showbiz people like to label them as.
He will be felt sorry for, as opposed to when Johnny public from a council estate does it.
