Before the end of the season, I hope Hill will play some of the younger players - Morley, Gillam - so they can begin the next season anticipating further appearances.
But tonight might be the occasion for experience rather than youth.
Whatever the team, it looks a hard game for Dale to win. Our last 6 away matches have produced 4 points; bury's last 6 at home have brought them 8 points.
True, the Gigglers have more home defeats - 10 - than any other L1 side (but away Dale have suffered 12 defeats, and only 4 L1 sides have had more).
Also, they'll be, presumably, fighting hard to keep their place in L1. And in Vaughan they have a forward with 12 goals in his last 14 appearances. |  | | |

I missed NML's name on the team sheet too first time round and thought the same but went back for another look. Lund is conspicuous by his absence though and I suspect we may have seen the last of him which would be a shame.
