Kunt and the gang. Saw a review by Charlie Brooker and was lucky enough to catch a live show in Newcastle when I was working there. Not for the easily offended but I laughed until I hurt

Doug Stanhope is a clear number one for me. Eddie Izzard is an easy second.
Stanhope by a mile. Elis is good. Sean lock very funny in his deadpan way. Hicks and Carlin up there with the very best. Denis Leary stole Hicks act. Mark Thomas is a brilliant political comedian

Mark Thomas one of the best live comedian I've seen. Mark Steel very good as well. Dara Ó Briain is excellent live.
Used to really enjoy this bloke called Lee Cornes in the 80s. Never made it. Sean Lock is a big fan of his. Felix was excellent live as well.
All great artists borrow. Think Hicks borrowed quit a bit from the great Sam Kinison.

Stanhope is the best at the moment, Stewart Lee is the best of the British.
