A lot of forums are similar tbh. A huge number of my friends I met on Drownedinsound (or DiS for short). Even towards the end of my time posting there (maybe 2011?) the site was collapsing as I guess no one ever planned to host 20+ years of content. I drop back there now and again cos it's a great way of keeping up with new releases, and it's on a new platform and even that is creaking.
But they're brilliant. Maybe I'm a sad sack but I've been a huge forum user all my adult life. Bringing together people who otherwise may not have communed with each other on a shared passion; not as disposable as microblogging sites; more personable than info dumps like reddit. I have 3 pateron subs and they're all for forums cos I think they are a totally unmitigated success of the connectivity era, but the hardest platform to keep going and we need to treasure them.
And look, online spaces aren't representative polling but if you go on the Championship subreddit, there are plenty of fans of other teams going "f**k, we have to play Rangers next, they've got some kind of witchcraft going on"
Look, I'm a millennial, so there's nothing I can't bring back to a Simpson's reference. But I recall the Frank Grimes episode where he tries to make fun of Homer winning a children's science contest and Lenny replies "Yeah, and Homer beat their brains out"

I feel it is useless to point to historical precedent when it's clearly a weaker than average year. There are 2 play off spots very much in play imo. Will it be hard for us to get one of them? The Substance was proper have it's cake and eat it. You're not really satirising unrealistic and over sexualised treatment of women in entertainment if you're also having long, overly sexualised takes.
But it was ok. Then the final act started. My wife was laughing through the whole thing, and I think I audibly sighed when it ended
DAMN and Butterfly are incredible. I really love GNX cos he finally made a party album. And Not like Us ended Drake's career, so we should all be grateful to him
