It’s well documented on here and I won’t go over it all again but I’d just like to put out a few thank you’s, this list is not exhaustive and I am sure there will be a few I miss but:
To Col and the Trust, without your leadership and drive I don’t think we would have survived. Firstly the removal of botters and the subsequent take over battle. When we set the trust up way back we stated that it was for exactly this scenario. Did we really believe? No But thankfully you were ready.
To Richard and Francis for you management of the clough estate. You have truly left him a legacy that is fitting. He would have approved and had been proud.
Andrew Kelly you decision not to sell ultimately gave it a lifeline.
RAFCBLUE, Upthedalenotfor sale for yor tireless investigation and fronting the social media fight, you were well supported by the members of this board. You should all be proud.
Simon Gauge and the RAFC board. You have acted with dignity, and I can’t remember a time when the club is such in tune with its fans.
And to the fcukwit Alex Jarvis whose incompetence meant this deal ultimately failed.
2022 will be a better year and a lot to look forward to.
Has anyone else had trouble getting through to the ticket office?
Been trying at various times during the last three days to sort out a transfer on my season ticket to the family stand for tomorrow’s game, but all it does is ring out.
Just a warning guys another sneaky price increase. Harry has a family stand season ticket and I have sandy lane. For last three years, including 3 games this year when I bring harry I pay £3 to transfer my season ticket for the game.
Today I was told there is a match day price to do this of £6! Even though I asked the question when I bought my ticket.
Last week I know a fan got charged £9 to move from sandy for one game with his son who had a sandy ticket. Start of the season this would have been £3 just for him.
This has been the same for years, and as I stated I asked if it would be the case when I renewed my ticket this year. My son can’t go every game so I go to the sandy like I have for nearly 40 years. But when I bring him we go Into the family stand. £3 is reasonable but doubling it half way through a season is out of order
