I love this guy. His work over the last couple of months has been extraordinary. A threadbare squad churning out results and getting so much improvement out of the young players.

Do you know what makes me love him more? He's not flawless. I don't always agree with him. I still don't think we should have rotated in the cup, I thought sticking on Madsen and Ashby last night was bonkers.

But, unlike many managers of the past, there's a plan. There's a calmness. There's a touch of genius.

Where's that brilliant flag of him gone? We need it back.

Disagree... he's rubbish, him and his assistant.

He is work in progress admittedly, but it would be utterly ridiculous for any midtable prem club, lower prem club or (perish the thought) parachute payment championship club to look anywhere in the W12 direction for at least 2 to 3 seasons. Absolutely nothing to see here at all.

Now that Scotty Parker, Danny Rohl and Tom Cleverly - there is real class.

MC is not the only reason we are 'where we are' but MC and his assistant (Calm) are the exceptionally important.

The reality is if he takes us to the play-offs. He will be pinging up on a lit of radars. We would have to go up to keep him sign him for a few more years.

I wouldn't be surprised if he remembers how the fans stayed loyal to him, and if he does get an offer elsewhere that will play on his decision. He definitely seems like a true professional, look at his face whenever he is asked about the fans who travel, you can see how much it means to him.

The man is good and he seems to have welded using a team that fights fir each other

An example of that for me was when Lloyd won a FK and Jimmy literally picked him up and shook the life out of him in saying we'll done

But, always a but, he will go, even great managers have a shelf life. My hope though that he and the club have now put us on the road to sustainability, so that when he does go, the new incumbent will seamlessly take over

Personally I hope this is not going to happen for a good couple of years. He and his team seem to have a real affinity with the club, that could even be affection. Let's enjoy him while we can and let's enjoy this run.

There is definitely something good happening and long may that continue

Decided to have a read of the 15 page MC out thread from back in November just to see where people were with him 2 months ago. Apart from a few dissenting voices who held him squarely responsible, it was massively pro-MC anti-Nourry. He mentioned the fanbase in his interview post-Stoke and I think we have been brilliant with him. Made him feel loved and supported and that shows out on the pitch now with his love for the club. We stuck with our man and are being rewarded, because lets face it, he is the best thing about this club right now.

I remember seeing him before his first game at Rotherham walking over to our travelling fans and applauding them.

The man is class.

While i'll hold back a bit as this is still the Championship, where results and fans are fickle, we were absolutely due one of these.

If anyone from the Premier League is reading this, these guys don't know what they're talking about. Marti is an overrated charlatan. Your best bet is to give Mick Beale a call.

Over rated and will never succeed at another club.

We'll just have to put up with him for now!

Dont know why we bother. .... but we do!

There isn't a lot of noise involving other clubs looking at Marti, because he is not prostituting himself to all and sundry after a decent run of form.

Certain previous incumbents would be sending several spurious emails spamming potential grander suitors big time by now !!

That also reminded me of that little dweeb that came on here claiming Marti resigned...
