We live in Britain. Where we are all supposed to agree on the importance of the principle of 'Freedom of Speech'.
Anyone who wants to censor their fellow citizens should leave to somewhere more suitable to their tastes. North Korea or China will take you I'm sure, it's a Socialist paradise over there. Live your best life.

This is freedom of speech. it doesn't mean anything will happen to the thread or the posters because I'm not admin.
That's why the "don't care" option is there. Personally I ignore both posters because I find their opinions cringeworthy, I have suggested that to others.

That surprised you didn't it. It proves that the other posters are more worldly and honest than you with your closed mind.

I’ve said it before, it’s the same people supporting Russia that believe the conspiracy theories about covid, chem trails and Flat Earth etc. Somehow at some point they have fallen down the rabbit hole of watching “truther” videos on YouTube and Twitter and have become ensnared in the algorithm that feeds them more BS on a daily basis. These video creators who obviously target the easily led and pathetically gullible make huge money out of these theories. Many under the payroll of the Russian state itself. There is a sizeable and growing demographic of nut jobs who will lap up this crap and spread it free of charge.
Luckily most will just laugh at them and scratch their heads at the mental gymnastics they perform to defend Putin and Russia at all costs.

Closed mind , I'm afraid if your mind was as open as you think it is then you would post subjectively and not what Moscow would like you and us to believe
"In a free society, the State is the servant of the people—not the master."
Angry. Not offended. Having witnessed very closely what Ukrainian friends have been through, and having been somewhat affected myself (was due to be back in Ukraine this year) I would struggle not to swing for someone if they told me in person things like "Ukraine started this invasion on February 17th" as 'controversial jack' says on here. The guy is a complete c*nt and spreads the Kremlin propaganda even when he doesn't believe it, because he likes what Russia is doing.
If it were up to me then I'd ban those who spread Kremlin propaganda but it's not up to me so whatever.

The offence is an indivual clearly supporting the invasion of a sovereign country and slaughtering both people and buildings with the ultimate aim of removing Ukraine completely. THAT is the offence. If anyone is not offended by that, then God have mercy on their souls.
While we gaze our navels from the safety of a benign Britain, people are being bombed in their own homes ,in Europe.

That's not what has happened though

and there we have it , denial
I don't support the invasion. Do I think Russia is justified, yes! Do I think Putin has been heavy handed, yes, but that's no different from what the west has or would do.
Do I think the Ukraine is innocent, No, it's hardly a bastion of freedom and democracy.
Do I like Zelensky, no, he's a liar and manipulator.
Should other countries get involved and provide weapons, No!
Is Russia going to win, yes, Zelensky has no option but to sue for peace.
Do I think the western media is impartial, not at all, it has an anti Russian agenda, whatever happens
Do I think Russia gives out propoganda, yes, but not as much as the Ukraine does.
Do I think you are misinformed and misguided, yes, you have an anti Russian agenda whatever happens.
Those are my views, take it or leave it, it's not going to affect the outcome

Most sensible people realise when it's time to put the shovel down.

Opinions ?
These people knowingly spread Kremlin propaganda. They repeat the same lines even when those lines have been disproven. These aren't opinions but an attempt to distort the truth due to their own biases. Tbh it's just awful that it exists within a Swans forum. To me it's no different to openly expressing racist views given the seriousness of what is happening.

I do think war crimes have been committed by both sides though.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

It's most likely. If not before, I am sure Ukrainians will have seen what Russians did and "returned the favour"
Can someone more enlightened than me explain why what we and the Germans did in the war, bombing cities, targeting civilians wasn't a war crime. London and Dresden eg.
Was that a thing back then ?

There will be some war crimes by every army in every war. Russia's are systemic and are rewarded. Russia invaded. Partially in 2014 and fully in 2022. Russia are the reason for this death and suffering. Information and propaganda is a big part of their war effort which is why almost everything they say is a lie (including 'we're not going to invade') and why they pay large numbers of people to spread their propaganda. It is absolutely disgraceful that this site is serving as a platform for some individuals to knowingly repeat their propaganda. Makes me ashamed to be a Jack.

Are they spreading propaganda or just venting their feelings on the subject? I haven't read the thread in depth, but it seems their viewpoint to me.
I must admit, I haven't a clue who is at fault for this war, read a few articles the other night, and after reading that I came to the impression that it was Americas fault and Nato for putting Ukraine into the position it's in now, if I remember this particular article was saying what's happened here is very similar to the cuban crisis, which was resolved peacefully. I'll have to read a bit more about it.
