Yet another beheading on 14:52 - Oct 30 by FieryJack | The brutal attempts by Christian Orthodox Serbs and Catholic Croats to "cleanse" Bosnia and Kosovo of Muslims in the 1990s is the only example I can think of. Although it could be argued that was more to do with extreme nationalism rather than religious persecution. Difficult to disentangle the two. Weren't the recent murderous attacks on Rohinga muslims in NE Burma carried out by Christians? Admittedly, it's hard to find examples, but there are a few here and there. Edit: Nope, I'm wrong: Rohingas were attacked by Buhddists. [Post edited 30 Oct 2020 14:56]

I did say "in their countries". The Balkans are Slavic. The most recent Balkan wars were complicated but one thing you can not say about them was that it was an attempt to impose Christianity. As you rightly say, it was more about nationalism. Buhddists have indeed attacked Muslims, but not in an Islamic country. They did that in their own country. So, let's all agree that in Islamic countries Muslims are not being murdered by non-Muslims in the name of religion. In fact, all of the Islamic countries were conquered by Islamic armies and then the people who followed a different religion were either murdered or subjugated to such awful conditions over the centuries that there are now barely any non-Muslims left in these previously non-Islamic countries. Why is that do you think? Why do we have pluralistic tolerant societies (all over the former Christian West) and yet the Islamic states have a mono-culture? Could it be something to do with the ideas, the philosophy, the commands, the rules laid out in their religion?

That's what the Janissaries were about when first formed. The invading Muslim army would allow non Mulims to carry on their normal lives but their first born son was taken and made to join the Janissaries, he became Muslim, married and had Muslim kids, eventually they bred non Muslims out.
