Hogan Ephraim tweeted some cyptic note to that effect...

The only possible thing I can think of is that we have invented a time machine. Or possible an elixir of youth for Les, Furs, Imps, Penrice, Sints and the entire Forever Rs lot to come out of retirement.

Can we go out yet?

PR stunt to win fans over and get them off the boards back. Hoos runs the show now.

Although aren't the Mittal family big Labour supporters and isn't the local council, whose affection we are trying to win over, also Labour?

Unless the Mittals were going to write off the debt and get FL to drop FFP, not sure it would make much difference - good news if the Chairman bit is true though.

It's more the Labour Party who are Mittal supporters. That's how it works:

It may very well have an element of PR about it for the fan base, but it could also be an attempt to break the logjam on stadium and training ground. Maybe the feeling is that it's TF to blame for lack of progress.

Also WLS reporting that Routlege is keen to come back on loan, he was a teammate of Hogans.

Listened to what he was saying at half time (along with Darren P. )from the stands. One thing I particularly picked out was that Hogan said that our Championship winning side was very physical. He was right. We earned the right to play by continously winning the ball. We outmuscled most sides that season. - we were a very physical outfit. It was commented upon a lot that season by the opposotion.

We need to bring some physicality somehow into this current side. This is such a physical league.

Absolutely.

We wanted a presence in midfield. We got Derry.
We needed a Leader at the back. We got Hill.

We could do with two like them, although could Scowen and Lester do that job?

Leistner can, Scowen can’t, we need a physical DM to help the back 4

McClaren agrees with you but he's hanging his hopes on Hall for that.

I have heard that, that type of player has to be so safe with the ball, I hope he can do it, George Thorne might be another shout, young Owens is also a good prospect.

I read the tweet as 'good news coming' for QPR fans in relation to how we're playing and with players like Eze looking so good. Good news = good times, etc.

Maybe not though.
