When we bought him a couple of years back we were warned by Norwich supporters of what to expect and we thought that they were displaying their usual sour grapes. But they were spot on and what I described above is what you have now got. Just watch him with my words in mind. Over the years I have seen some fantastic footballers playing for QPR, players that you Jacks would only dream about, Bowles, Francis, Thomas, Masson, Stainrod, Currie, Byrne, Wegerle and more recently Taarabt (still love that nutmeg against Joe Allen on Boxing Day 2010 before curling the ball past Doris). It angered me that Fer was given the QPR number 10 shirt at all. Really pleased that he has gone, would have preferred him going to Newcastle because that would have improved their chances of relegation and to be quite honest, much prefer an away trip to St James' than to the Liberty, apart from that oversized chippy there isn't much else. |
I remember watching that documentary on QPR. What was it called? The Four Year Plan?
Great documentary, very funny. QPR has more clowns that Chipperfields and Billy Smart's put together and you are one of them.

I agree and honestly think our squad is good enough to stay up this year. We coped well enough last year and I don't think standards have risen in the EPL. In fact they probably have dropped with sides down the bottom capable of beating those at the top and Leicester forging ahead.
What could be our undoing is injuries therefore I hope we can rely on Fer for quite a few matches. [Post edited 2 Feb 2016 11:58]

Fer has a long-standing and well publicised knee injury. He failed medicals at Everton (2013 transfer) and Sunderland (2015 loan).
Maybe, just maybe, he's been carrying the injury and it makes him look lazy to QPR supporters.
With 15 games left, we only need a few appearances and/or substitute appearances out of him. A few decent goals/assists will virtually see us home and dry. Surely he can manage that even with a potentially dodgy knee. I doubt we will see a tireless box to box midfielder, mind you.
I, for one, look forward to seeing what qualities he has, you don't play in the Dutch top flight or for the Dutch national side without being a decent footballer.
