If true, I'm very surprised by this signing, a most unlike Swansea player.

If I remember rightly he was one of a few players that where a major disruptive influence in the dressing room when they where in the prem. It's the signing confirmed?

Yes.

We must be pining for all Shelvo's attributes by what's been posted so far.

Meh weird signing, be interesting to know how much wages we paying for him, not sure about this season but I know in the prem be was on a fair wack without a relegation clause in his contract, gotta love Tony Fernandez lol

This is right up there with signing David N'Gog.

Classic Huw.

De Guzman cant tackle and people were screaming for him to come back. I will reserve judgement until I see him action. Then I wont end up having to backtrack if/when a typical Huw signing actually turns out to be a decent squad member like Emnes was.

When we bought him a couple of years back we were warned by Norwich supporters of what to expect and we thought that they were displaying their usual sour grapes. But they were spot on and what I described above is what you have now got. Just watch him with my words in mind. Over the years I have seen some fantastic footballers playing for QPR, players that you Jacks would only dream about, Bowles, Francis, Thomas, Masson, Stainrod, Currie, Byrne, Wegerle and more recently Taarabt (still love that nutmeg against Joe Allen on Boxing Day 2010 before curling the ball past Doris). It angered me that Fer was given the QPR number 10 shirt at all. Really pleased that he has gone, would have preferred him going to Newcastle because that would have improved their chances of relegation and to be quite honest, much prefer an away trip to St James' than to the Liberty, apart from that oversized chippy there isn't much else.

I remember watching that documentary on QPR. What was it called? The Four Year Plan?
Great documentary, very funny. QPR has more clowns that Chipperfields and Billy Smart's put together and you are one of them.

Horrible club, horrible fans.

Feck off.

Jdg would have been the ultimate folly and frankie might well have put hue as regards that madness.

Jdg wasn't and isn't what we need now.

Always thought that Jacks were classless. Obviously you're worried that there may be some truth in what I have said. Just check out a few of our boards and you will find the vast majority are delighted with this move. See you next season in the Championship.

Of course it's very classy to go to an opposing club's fans forum and to gloat.
Seems pretty immature to me. I was thinking you must just be about 10yrs old or so but as you mentioned Bowles I guess you must be a fair bit older.

Group up FFS.

Well we have had negative comments from both Norwich and QPR but that is not unusual after a player leaves a club. Would we have said the same things about Jon Jo a year ago? What Fer's critics virtually all say is that he has talent but you don't see it often enough.
This is last chance saloon for him. His stock will fall further if he does not make a fist if it. Therefore I expect he will be firing on all cylinders, at least at the start. If that only lasts 16 weeks it is still a win, win for us.
If this is not a Frankie signing then I hope he has not been pressurised into taking the player on board because the last thing we need is another managerial break down in relations. I am optimistic this is not the case as Frankie's London connections would suggest he would know about Fer.
Glass half full here. The player has my full support.

If he influences one single win for us in the time he is here he is probably worth it. Winner against the Deliah's would be very tasty.

Humpty, a person on reason. Originally posted to give my view and it is a shame that some folk cannot accept that individuals can have a viewpoint that may not suit them. Will say though that the out-sized chippy does do a decent curry sauce!

Actually mate, your original post was full of gloating that we'd taken some crap player from you, one you will get back in a few months anyway and you then go ont to post a load more bullshit about the great players you have we can only dream off and see you in the Championship etc.

You are an immature clown.

I agree and honestly think our squad is good enough to stay up this year. We coped well enough last year and I don't think standards have risen in the EPL. In fact they probably have dropped with sides down the bottom capable of beating those at the top and Leicester forging ahead.
What could be our undoing is injuries therefore I hope we can rely on Fer for quite a few matches.

I thought he did ok in the prem in a very poor team.

Been poor in the champs. Has all the physical attributes to make a cracking box to box midfielder but doesn't seemed arsed about using them. Another one of these players who thinks they are a number 10.

Fer has a long-standing and well publicised knee injury. He failed medicals at Everton (2013 transfer) and Sunderland (2015 loan).
Maybe, just maybe, he's been carrying the injury and it makes him look lazy to QPR supporters.
With 15 games left, we only need a few appearances and/or substitute appearances out of him. A few decent goals/assists will virtually see us home and dry. Surely he can manage that even with a potentially dodgy knee. I doubt we will see a tireless box to box midfielder, mind you.
I, for one, look forward to seeing what qualities he has, you don't play in the Dutch top flight or for the Dutch national side without being a decent footballer.
Good luck Leroy.

I hope somebody from the Liberty is going to come out and justify this loan signing. In what universe does Fer add anything to our squad?

I wonder which genius at our club pulled this joker's name out of the hat? Seriously guys. If our scouting system is saying that this is the sort of signing we need , then we're in really deep doo-doo.
