Neil Warnock is set to return to one of the first clubs he graced as a Manager, Burton Albion for a pre-season friendly on August 7th.

Brewers Chairman Ben Robinson announced the date in today's Burton Mail and spoke warmly of his friendship with the Leeds boss, who is expected to send a strong squad 11days before the season starts.

As a club, Burton are almost unrecognisable from the days Warnock managed the Brewers-now established in League Two at the impressive Pirelli Stadium-a far cry from their days at Eton Park in the Northern Premier when Warnock was there between 1981-1985.
