Referee STUART MORLAND will officiate at Spotland for the second time this season when he takes charge of Tuesday’s home fixture against Altrincham.

The Liverpool official, who is in his first season refereeing in the National League, oversaw Dale’s televised home game versus Southend United in October and was also due to referee the pre-Christmas home fixture against Boston United, only for it to be postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Mr Morland has refereed 13 National League matches this term, most recently Solihull Moors v Sutton United last Tuesday. He has also been in the middle at Barrow v Harrogate and Accrington v Doncaster in League Two under the arrangement that has seen the EFL and National League lists combined into one.
