i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto
BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged
only Wednesday this week.
looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

Fear not, bury are going to be saved.

One of the buckets has contacted Harry Redknapp’s people after hearing he wants to buy a club.

Marvellous stuff

Nowt new there then.

I wonder if that drink is still waiting on the bar at The Northern Whisper?

The level of delusion on Beardy is unrivaled.

Some reality biting big time.

For several years there was a Bertie Big Balls whilst wearing blinkers attitude. This is what has created the mess and some BIG names over at Bury need to hang there heads in shame.

The Forever Bury fella being one and Gordon another. Just two names, there are more that know who they are and how happy they were to lord it over the local clubs whilst Stewie dished out the milky bars.

Gordon can fook right off as well the club was cheating all the way back then this is NOT a new problem bury have overspent and not had anyone good at basic math for years.

It is truly an amazing read over on beardy currently, going on about almost 20 years of debt and blaming save our shakers, FB, Neville, Day, Dale, Phoenix Club and various others. The whole thing remains clear as mud but it appears Neville and co gave the SOS shares to Day, losing any element of control.

It’s also noticeable how many of them knew SD1 and 2 were bad news from the start and also that Mark whatever, who was involved in the “consortium” does not know the difference between know and no.

They truly are the ride that keeps on giving!

If you look hard enough on there, there's a link to the independent review of Bury which was released into the public domain. It's a couple of months old now and bizarrely it didn't attract too many replies.

Anyway, their glorious promotion of 2018-19 saw them placed under 7 different embargoes for not paying for loan players last season. Everyone of which was under Stewie.

It also documents the number of clubs who required EFL intervention in seeking money owed to them by Bury during the Stewie era, some of which are featured several times:

Scunthorpe
Northampton
Bristol Rovers
Sunderland
Sheffield Wednesday
Rotherham
Tranmere
Everton
Barnsley
Portsmouth
Bolton
West Brom
Port Vale
Oldham
Millwall
Blackburn
Rochdale
Burton
Coventry
Chesterfield
Southend
Wigan
Blackpool
Swindon
Port Vale
Wolves
Charlton
Fulham
Man City
Brighton

Fúck the EFL indeed.

If you’re obsessed like me, have a listen at around 1 hour in for a belting load of bullshit from Gordon. If you listen carefully you can hear the beep of him backtracking as he claims the 5 year plan to get to the championship was never going to happen.

Change of tack from wow wow wow there, Gordy.

That list is astounding and a secret for much too long.

Reading Beardys you'd be forgiven for thinking that the EFL is some remote corporate body. According to their narrative, its CEO and chief pantomime villain woke up one morning and on a whim thought to herself "Oh, I think I'll kick Bury out of the league today for something to do".

The reality is rather different. A couple of dictionary definitions of "league" are:
"group of sports clubs who compete for championship" and "an association of sporting clubs that organises matches between member teams". That's exactly what the EFL, for all its faults, is.

There's surely little doubt about the vast amount of ill-feeling and resentment that must have developed towards Bury from member clubs and a major reason why the EFL acted as it did.

I did hear that once, on the morning of a bury match at Rochdale, a cheque for ticket money arrived.

It duly bounced after the fixture was completed.

This thread started on 16 October 2015. Plenty was know even in li'l 'ole Rochdale about the cheats and their usual financial ineptitude even before this date. If the EFL are guilty of anything, it is of not acting sooner to kick this corrupt club out of the league and give a proper football club a chance instead. The hand-wringing in the report ever so slightly admits this. The trail of unpaid debtors just grew and grew as bury got promoted at their expense as a consequence.

Given some of Harry Redknapp's well documented financial misdemeanours, he'd be a perfect fit for them.

He’ll be itching to swap the delightful bistro up the road from his house for a greasy spoon on the world famous bury market.

Harry might have been able to go to a high quality foodhall at bury's failing world famous in its own lunchtime market, but the successful Altrincham Market model was considered too upmarket for the local scrotes. At least someone in bury has a sense of self-awareness.

“Bury Council has agreed to spend £50,000 to develop a masterplan for the market which includes drawing up a business plan for a new indoor hall.

Working with Millgate Shopping Centre, the council wants to remodel the market area and could build a new “flexi hall” next to Bury Interchange.

This new indoor hall would be used as a seven-day-a-week cultural, food and entertainment venue offering live music, pop-up markets and other events.”

Could have been written by Stewie himself.

New stadium and BL9 weekenders.
