The Arse v Aston Villa: Preview
The Arse v Aston Villa: Preview

Two form teams aim to sustain momentum.

Martin O’Neill’s men are perfectly set up to play us. Against opposition who sit back against them they often struggle to take the initiative but we will dominate possession on Sunday, allowing them to utilise their pace on the counter attack.

Chelsea humiliated us at the Grove with similar tactics which will make Villa’s 4/1 odds to take three points very tempting. Cesc Fabregas is fighting to help the bookmakers save some money though and still has a chance of returning for the game following the hamstring strain he suffered at Turf Moor.

With the captain aiming to be back, Nasri escaping suspension and Diaby and Eduardo threatening to return to form, the odds ahead of the match are a little more understandable. It promises to be a spectacular match that can be enjoyed in the knowledge that whatever the result, nothing will be decided at this stage of a rollercoaster season.

Prediction: 3-1 to the Arse
