Leeds finally confirm the news we knew all along...but furious Blackpool threaten to take legal action.

Its finally official! Simon Grayson is the new-boss of Leeds United.

The official Leeds website have confirmed the 39-year-old Yorkshireman and Leeds fan as their ninth boss in 10 years.

However there is bitterness in Blackpool, Grayson's former club. The Seasiders are understandably furious and issued a statement saying:"Blackpool FC can confirm that Simon Grayson tendered his resignation at 0830 on Tuesday morning.

"The resignation was not accepted by the board of directors and the club and are now considering legal action against both Simon Grayson and Leeds United."

In the meantime, we will leave Uncle Ken to sort out the mess off the park as Grayson sets about sorting out the mess on it on the training ground as Leeds host leaders Leicester on Friday afternoon.
