Andrea Orlandi will line up against the "best player in the league" on Sunday and is on the hunt for goals

The Swansea City midfielder admits that his scoring record is not the best and knows on Sunday that he will face a big challenge for him when Adel Taarabt lines up against him for QPR

Orlandi rates Taarabt as the best player in the league and told the Western Mail “When we played against QPR under Roberto, I remember he was making his debut and he really impressed me with his tricks

“He didn’t work much then, but when we played them this season I thought he was a lot stronger, more skilful.

“He has everything to get right to the top.

“Technically he is the best player in the league and he can probably go on to play wherever he wants.

“QPR are lucky to have Taarabt and the rest of the team is very strong also.”

Goals are also something on his mind and he added “At the moment I see the goal and it looks very small, so maybe if I get one it will get bigger and bigger.

“I’m not scoring and that’s something I have to sort out.

“I’m not having many chances in games, I’m working very hard and sometimes I don’t have the energy to get into the box.

“It’s something I am always looking to improve and I felt under pressure to score since day one.

“Lately I’ve been feeling better, I’ve had a decent run of games, but I feel I can still play a lot better.

“It’s a busy period coming up and it will dictate where we are going to finish at the end of the season.

“We need to turn things around because in the last few games we have not been at our best.

“Until the Cardiff game we were flying and then we had a poor result, then we won again and now we are in a difficult period.

“If you look at Leeds they are flying at the moment and teams will always go through these periods.

“We have a couple of games now and we can turn it around.

“We are still in a great position.

“In four games if we could win three and draw one it would be very good for us, or maybe win two and draw two.

“But we have to go into the games with the mentality we want to win every game.

“We drew against QPR at home and missed a chance to score a penalty so there is no reason why we can’t go there and win.”
