Daniel started his career as a trainee at Manchester United. He spent two seasons making the odd appearance before he was loaned to Swansea City. While at the Vetch Field, he scored the first goal of his professional career - a last minute strike in the 2-1 loss against Southend in the LDV Vans Trophy.
He moved on loan to Barnsley later that season and scored an impressive seven goals in 16 games. This move was made permanent at the start of the 2004-05 season where he made most of his appearances coming off the bench.
This season has been much of the same for Nardiello, making 23 substitute appearances while only scoring six goals. He has been booked ten times this season and narrowly missed out on being suspended for this match.
