In an interview with the local press Norwich manager, Paul Lambert echoed his feelings of delight at how his side have "punchied above their weight."

The topic turned to chief executive David McNally's web chat with supporters and especially the fact that Lambert had identified players and told the Board.

McNally said that "...work is well underway in attempting to complete some business..."

As for anybody leaving, especially in light of recent rumoured Premiership interest in striker and top scorer, Grant Holt, Lambert repeated that there had been "no recent offers".

Lambert added: "I don’t expect anybody to go. I’ll make the decision on that anyway."

A definitely confident assertion compared to how his predessors have always added the tag that every player having his price.
