London boys at the World Cup. 17:15 - Nov 30 with 2524 viewsMick_S

Apparently there are 3 lads at the tournament that went to Queensmead in Hillingdon. Lamptey, Mepham and one other I’m looking for.

Saka ( Ealing - Greenford High) and another - both at Greenford Celtic as kids. Looking for him, too.

A bit vague, but I know you lot!

Quite remarkable for neighbouring boroughs.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

I’ll try and get the answers today/tomorrow. My mate who is Mr non- league football with loads of years ago playing connections should fill the gaps in. P.W. For you, Mel. His nephew, who went to Queensmead called this one.

Less we forget that Sterling went to school at Copeland High (although I think its now called something community school) in the Borough of our Noisy Neighbours.

Antoine Semenyo for Ghana and Yunus Musah in the USA squad both are both either London born or London bred. No idea what parts though! Iliman Ndiaye of Senegal came to London in his teens too, I often wonder if we were ever in for him. Tremendous player

The young Sterling played for Alpha & Omega from Kingsbury. My son played against him. The school is now Ark Elvin Academy in Wembley.

Funnily enough I thought of Musah enough to Google him and he appears to have gone to school in east/east of Laandon.

I wonder if it's someone out there officiating or such like.

Going back a bit, but this was some production line of players. Beware - stinker alert included in former player section.

I was thinking that they had more likelihood of playing ala Matty Cash, and that Lewandowski will be retired by then.
Buggered if I'd go to Katowice to watch 'em though.
Beale would probably be Inter Milan manager (second spell) by then.

I'd wager here and now, he'll try managing AC and Inter concurrently, offering honesty to one and integrity to the other. He just hasn't decided which yet.
