QPR v Derby match thread 08:56 - Feb 14 with 31945 viewsBeckenhamhoop

It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these.

We beat Eustace only a couple of games ago and I reckon we’ll beat his team again. I’d also like to see Colback and Morgan as the deeper laying two in midfield and Kolli given a chance after an hour or so if he’s recovered from his recent injury/illness (?). I think he’s been hard done by recently considering the amount of goals and assists he’s had.

Rangers 2 Rams 0

C’mon you Soooooopah…

Madsen coming on...

Game will finish 4-3 now with a very nervy last 5 minutes where Madsen stands around watching the game bypass him

Is it my imagination, or is our record on Sky, especially on Friday nights, a lot better recently? Was absolutely shocking for a long time

Was thinking exactly the same thing. Recently it seems we always win 😲

Disappointing last 15m - Marti takes off Chai for Madsen rather than going for he fifth, and we let them play all the football. Yates unlucky not to pull at least one back, with one chalked off.

We’re 4-0 up and cruising: more than sensible to rest good players for upcoming matches and rotate the squad.

That would be good, Brian - in my limited opinion.

It might shift his fat, pampered celebrity arse somewhere else.

Frank Doberman (again).

I'd 100% agree with you, but we probably have to play him if anyone's going to take him off us?

Those last two subs look to have really weakened us - all Derby since when we should be cruising!

Feels like we're cruising to me?

This has become a weird thread.

We are winning 4-0 And yet it feels like there are just as many negative posts as positive ones.

There's a grip just over there for some people to get

I simply cannot watch Madsen anymore. Sad thing is, we are probably stuck with him, as any football club with sense won't go near him. Let him rot and forget about him.

That last foul on Lloyd looked intentional, more red than yellow for sure.

Comprehensive.

Apart from the goals, I thought the pressing was the major contributing factor.

Agreed.

They started pressing (or 'hunting' as Ajax used to call it) very well but tired after ten minutes, whereas we did it all game.

Understood, but is that a good enough reason to play someone who really contributes nada.

It’s not like he’s advertising his highlights from what I’ve seen and maybe bench warming is as good as it gets in this best. millennial version of himself.

Game was over at three. Derby have had plenty of possession...but not done much with it. Goals win games as we found out to our cost on Tuesday. Much easier night than I thought it would be. Would love us to sign another striker and a midfielder who can receive the ball and look forward...instead of back. Minor gripes on a great night. Well done everyone 😎

Even in the last few minutes, 4-0 up, we were all over them. Great performance.

Great interview on Sky with Jimmy and Ilias. Both genuinely so likeable

Some good things, and lovely goals, but not really a 4-0 game for me - 3-2 or 4-2 wouldn't have flattered Derby. Overall, I'm obviously pleased, though a bit peeved to see Marti's 'I always go for another goal' approach in the final 15m, when we could have gone for a fifth and sixth and neutralised our goal difference. Still, job mostly well done!

Great result and watched it with my son who was really into it. Made up for the disappointment of Tuesday.

Chair gets more and more London when he talks. What a legend.

Jimmy Dunne speaks really well as does Chair. Sound like their manager. Not too high or too low...stay humble.

Chair was MOTM and fair enough but massive shout out to Saito.

Only watched the second half as had to do a Valentines dinner. Really enjoyed it though.

Great result. The fans in attendance were in fantastic voice throughout too.

Yang tried that cutback a few times before he hit Chair. Maybe some potential in that - if it hadn't been Chair, Frey was coming in for it.

Echo the frustration with Madsen. Good to see Morrison back. More options!

4-0 FOUR F*CKING NIL!!!

Well, that's not good enough is it? Should have been at least 5.

Sack everyone! :)
