I have left a QPR match early only once. That was a big game in 1986. We were losing 3-0 to Oxford. I missed nothing by leaving and years later, I learned that it had all been an illusion and that the match had not really taken place. What a relief. | | | |

Only once where it meant I missed a goal. My only visit to the San Siro in 2005 to watch AC vs Cagliari (Zola had recently signed for the visitors) but AC Milan had some team back then.

Also left the 2-2 with Brentford on 82 mins, and was walking down Uxbridge Rd when the BBC Sport app on my phone flashed Freeman's equalizer on 90+4. Strange feeling both elated and fuming at the same time.

A couple of times when we were first back in the Premier League. Home to some bogball team around Christmas time and a week or so later away to Arsenal. Football was unambitious, weather was freezing, and I felt no connection to the players whatsoever. Left both to go to the pub. |  |

Ever left early? Frequently.
Regretted it? No if anything, regretted not going earlier on more occasions.
Why leave early? If they're crap is one thing, but not looking remotely bothered and putting the effort in, then that's the cue to head for the doors.
Have you missed anything by leaving early? No. In fact, given my predilection for getting on my toes early, I've fortunately witnessed the Newcastle, Port Vale, and Stockport comebacks. |  |
