I think it's now proving detrimental to some of the stuff it's meant to protect. A cynic might say Sky are inflicting this horrendous fixture list on people so they can gather support for it being dropped. | | | |

12:30pm Saturday ko’s are proper s#!t tho. At least a 5/5:30pm gives time to get to the match and enjoy more of a pre match build up. Lunchtime ko’s just scupper the routine and causes unnecessary timing stress. Proper pain in the rs for us long distance devotees. |  | | |

I think that's clearly what they're trying to do. Make it so bad that we'd all happily accept getting rid of the 3pm blackout so we can all get back to normal. In fairness if they showed live Premier League games at 3pm on a Saturday, none of us would change our habits. We'd still all be at Loftus Road [Post edited 30 Jul 22:10]

I’m there already. The 3pm blackout serves little purpose any more, especially with illegal online streaming. Most fans can watch at home, but outside London some establishments show the illegal stuff. In Laws are from Liverpool and when I’ve been up there in the city, you can find bars showing the game on illegal streams at 3pm…
Just be done with it. If you’re a fan who likes going at 3pm on a Saturday, you’ll still go. If you’re not sure, you might not. But those fans won’t impact the atmosphere much, even if they aren’t replaced.
