Don’t really care about the score today as there was lots of positives to take away from today’s game.
Nardi looks like a massive upgrade on cheaper wages I guess.
Defence looked good
Midfield held its own considering no Field and Chair, but Dixon B gives the ball away far too many times.
1st time in a long time our back up players did not look out of place.
Alfie Lloyd looked a handful.
Lots of positive from today.
Kollli seems to come back from injury well and looked sharp.
Cook and Clarke- Salter looked. Quality as per normal but against world class players in Son.
Once again great performance when you consider the total cost of our + subs probably = o ne of there players and yes the 1st goal was quality.

Thought Dunne looked a stone (at least) overweight. Agree with EDB, thought he was poor with the ball. Smyth was decent first half as was Kohli and although he didn’t do much Frey looks a lot fitter and think he could bring something to the team this season. I agree about Dixon-Bonner. He has potential and I like him but I don't think he should be first choice in the centre of the park, particularly alongside Colback. I'd like to see us strengthen in the middle with a good up and down No. 8.
Generally a very decent performance against a strong Spurs side. Shame one of our chances didn't go in to reward a good home crowd. Hope Chair missing is nothing nefarious as we missed him today, would have loved to see him play against the Spuds.
All the youngsters did very well in the last 20, particularly Lloyd who looked a handful. Wasn't so convinced with Santos, at least not in that advanced right-wing position, much prefer Smyth there. |  | | |

Santos looked a weak link, poor both positionally and in terms of his passing game, to the extent that I missed Kakay! Needs to improve from his low marker, and hopefully that will come. |  |

From my seat in the lower loft, it looked like Anderson couldn't really keep up with the pace and power of premier league players. He's class but lack of pace probably why he's playing at this level.
Cook and JCS were excellent. Some said Paal had a bad game but I thought he did okay. Jimmy was solid.
Nardi looks a superb buy on that showing. So nice to see a decisive goalie who's happy to have the ball played to his feet.
EDB was busy without being amazing. Kolli looked like he could deputise for Chair if he's sold or injured.
Frey definitely a bit more mobile. Wasn't particularly impressed with the new Brazilian. He might struggle with the physical side of the English game.
Young players coming on in the second half were a breath of fresh air and you could see Marti was very pleased with their high press.
Overall an enjoyable game even if it was a bit hot in the lower loft for my five year old. The free caps came in handy. | | | |

Dykes missed a sitter again. No change there, then.
Nardi was class, score should have been 4-0. He is an upgrade on Asmir.
Santos took ages to get into the game and then his crossing was decent. He will get better.
Dunne was up against Werner, who is supposed to be super fast and a great crosser but, as we know, useless at scoring. Dunne, I thought, coped with him very well and looked good. If he can do that, then we don't have to worry about his lack of pace. I suspect Santos has been brought in as cover for Willock, but I am not sure it will work. Or maybe Cannon is off, and Santos is the backup.
Tuck looked useful, too. Frey looked more mobile, he still needs to move way more, though.
This was a top 6 Prem team, and we were not that far off from them.
We need some pace and creativity, as we cannot rely on Chair every season. |  |

Was at game.
Decent performance
Goalkeeper did extremely well. Quite calm. Good with his feet, distribution choices seemed fair and saved three one on ones.
Frey EDB and Kolli all in excellent shape and all.performed well. Think Frey at full fitness could work for us.
Kolli hope he avoids injury as he could be the x factor.
Has pace and strength of Sinclair but also some touch and could have scored a worldie but for a brilliant save.
Funny how.people see the game differently. Not sure if comments so far by people watching at home but for me, Dixon Bonner seems a cultured centre mid and some nice touches and passes that was not so.much last season.
Cook and JCS both look quality even against Bissouma, Son and Werner.
Again second half the young guys that came on, all did not look out of place.
Unlucky not to score and sucker punch flattered Spurs.
Would say only Santos who seemed hesitant and a bit light weight and Paal who was the proverbial player on toast where lots of Spurs threats came from, had negative performances. |  |

I agree.
Kolli looks like he could be a useful match day squad addition and was encouraged by Alfie Lloyd and Daniel Bennie too.
Frey also looked like he'd lost half a stone and was busying himself about.
Nardi made some smart stops and also a couple of great bits of distribution.
Not one to get too carried away about as it was a friendly, but we were worth a goal.

Score should not have been 4-0 that's just silly. We had two or three very good chances, could easily have been 2-2. I actually thought 2-0 flattered Spurs, we were the better team for periods of that game. | | | |

The one ‘negative’ is I have to say I’m still not convinced with Larkeche, at least as a LB, he always seems like a winger who was told to be a full back late in the day and doesn’t understand the position. If someone were to come in for Paal I think we would have to go out and replace him. | | | |

Well, i enjoyed that. Didn’t think we’d win (though of course would be great if we did) but apart from 15-20 mins from the start of the second half I thought we did well against a strong PL team.

Good game to watch especially the first half and last twenty mins.
Great atmosphere for a friendly and the Spurs fans played their part.
We were unlucky not to score a few on the day. Blinding saves from Kolli first half and Dykes second half.
Players in general did well. They looked fit and we had an identity and style of play early in pre season. Not sure about the short goal kicks though, generally got ourselves into trouble. Thought the out ball to Dunne on the right worked better.
Two stars of the show for me:- Nardi who was exceptional with both feet and made a few great saves. He could be premiership class on that display. And then Kolli he was really exciting. A big unit for a flair player, some great moments and he looks like a star. I hope we don’t loan him out and we just give him a chance.
Cook was class he is such an important player for us. Probably the best centre half we’ve had in years. Clarke salter also very good and composed.

He has technical ability but I think he may take 6 months to show his true potential. Dixon bonner is one who flatters to deceive for me. Agree with much that's been posted above. A very pleasing performance from us and I don't think a draw would have been an unfair result.
For me, two concerns come out of the game. As already mentioned, our playing out from the back clearly needs more work. We basically passed it to Cook who then wellied it upfield. That's not what Cifuentes will want.
The other concern is Cannon. It may be me but he just doesn't look right and has been anonymous in the friendlies so far.

I agree with your comments on most things,but what I saw from the lower loft in the 1st half,Nardi is very much one footed.I think teams will work that out quite quickly and pressure him more.I only saw him touch it with his left once during the opening 45 mins.
I can’t comment on his 2nd half kicking as it was a long way away from me.
