I am the manager at a local sports bar in Leicester and just wanted to drop by and say we welcome away fans as well. It’s called The Locker Room and we are situated 5 minutes from the train station & about a 15 minute walk to the ground. We have plenty of draught beer available including Red Stripe, Cruzcampo, Moretti, Strongbow DF, Inch’s, Neck Oil, Foster’s, Heineken & Guinness. We have also plenty of bottled beer and Soft drinks available as well. We have 20+ tvs and 2 large projectors as well as 5 American Pool tables and 2 English pool tables. We open at 11, the address is 5-11 Belvoir Street, LE1 6SL Hopefully see some of you in there on Saturday!

I gave up drinking last May, but used to drink lager or IPAs, I found they were consistent wherever I was in the country. Whats the deal with Guinness tasting different in places?

This could go to 12 pages. I still remember the look on Brian McCarthy's face when Gerry the Landlord asked him how the Guinness in the Crown was after Brian had seen one of the younger barmaids "stirring it around". | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Of course the Guinness is good! Not good for business if you have a bad Guinness!

Norf is spot on . You’d get a long thread on the Guinness issue. Always a good sign when there’s plenty of people drinking it in a boozer. Have a look at the shitlondonguinness website. Some scenes of mayhem on that.

I don't even drink Guinness but some of the pics from that Twitter feed often make me exclaim "Dear God no". It's always Richmond rugby pubs serving it in a branded lager glass laced with cooking fat from a clogged dishwasher.

I was having a pee in the Dog & Muffler and I thought - isn't it strange how the Guinness changes colour ?
