I watched the last episode of line of duty and thought that was good. Undercover has finally grabbed by attention. I quite like some of the investigative programmes Stacey Dooley does. However I can't wait for the next series of people just do nothing.

At the start of the last series I decided to watch "The Great Pottery Throw Down" what a delightful series it turned out to be, so much so that I went back and am now binge watching all the earlier seasons.

The grass is always greener.

Netflix is full of comedy specials by people I’ve never heard of that are easy to pass over, but rather than waste my time on yet another unconventional crime-fighter or dystopian sci-fi I thought I’d give one a try. Brian Simpson -Live From The Mothership. No wiser on who it was, but it was laugh-out-loud funny, great stuff. It’s not just his material, his bone-dry delivery was first class. Treat yourself.

Bottom Exposed on UK Gold tonight was joyful and heartbreaking. if you liked Bottom back in the 90's I'd thoroughly recommend it, saw the live show a few times and never laughed like that at anything else, so silly but so funny

Really enjoyed Parasyte: The Grey on Netflix.
Korea just has the imagination and ability to make numerous high quality and credible series like this: you just cannot imagine us doing it.

Thanks for the tip, four episodes in and really enjoying Parasite the grey. My 13yr old said was based on an anime series she'd watched.

Just binged Fallout as well which was stunning to look at and totally bonkers, loved it.

Mrs. Sheen has got me into a Colombian Netflix series called The Hijacking of Flight 601. Set in the 1970s, it looks great, is very intriguing and entertaining and at times very funny. Can’t recommend it highly enough, a completely unexpected treat.

Agree wholeheartedly with this. Thought the first series was one of the best ever police dramas on British TV and last night’s opener makes it look like they haven’t dropped the standard at all in series two.

Have finished it and it was good
All got a bit “right on sister” with each passing episode but still good.

Best line of the series “ we’ll never ride again”

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

If you have Disney then Shardlake is well worth a look.

I wasn't sure I would like it, but Red Eye on ITVx has been pretty good. Last episode to go.

Sugar on Apple has been also good so far.

Smells like a trout farm in here

Quite Harrowing but The Tattooist of Auschwitz is very good. I think they've done it well.

Absolute shyte but compellingly watchable; Joe Lycett on Friday nights.
Joe & Katherine Do Bargain Holidays is eminently enjoyable.
Both are like my musical tastes; they may not make me look cool but I like them.

The grass is always greener.

The books are great entertainment and I had the extra enjoyment that so much of the action took place within a mile of my office. RIP CJ Sansom. Almost frightened to watch the series I liked them so much.

Echo this, hadn’t realised the author had passed although knew he had been ill.

I love historical modern mystery /fiction and the Shardlake series tops it for me.

Vaguely remember the book, this programme was superb.. hopefully they will make the entire series although Matthew Shardlake does not look how I imagined him nor Barack

Other authors in this genre I love

SW Perry the jackdaw mysterys gotta love Bianca Merton
SJ parris for the Bruno mystery’s

Would love to see these brought to the big screen

captains fantastic

So I finally managed to watch this town and to be honest I wasn’t overly impressed. I expected a bit more of the storyline to focus on the emergence of blue beat. I thought that the various different threads didn’t always hang together and perhaps a greater emphasis could have been given to a smaller number of plots for example the IRA and it’s existence and influence at the time. That said there were som good characters.

I was pretty disappointed with it. Loved the book. It was good in parts but overall I think they could have done much better.

I haven’t read the books but my missus has and she’s enjoying it. The cast and writing is very good, the only very minor grumble I have is the theme tune which is very similar to Marvel and doesn’t suit the show at all.

Watched possibly the worst sci-fi film ever last night on Film 4: Moonfall. Huge budget, appalling script and CGI and a plot that made Independence Day seem totally realistic. Big fella from Game of Thrones had some of the worst lines ever spoken in motion picture history. Seemed like it was written by a 6 year old who’d had too much sugar.
Not recommended.

Just finished Baby Reindeer and watched the last two episodes again as the missus fell asleep the first time round. There's a bit of artistic licence as it seems the on stage breakdown didn't happen in real life but he did tell the story at the Edinburgh festival and that went viral and led to Netflix contacting him but it's still an impressive bit of acting.

As someone who's had to deal with a stalker it does shine a light on the darker side of it and the path it can lead you down. Thankfully my experience wasn't anywhere near as bad as that, mine impersonated four different people that would message/email me so there's more than one way to be a deranged stalker.

A thought provoking ending to the series as well, he's a much better actor than he is a comedian.

I’ve just noticed I, Claudius is back on iPlayer, so that’s me sorted for the next few days. A pleasant surprise how many of the cast are still going, eg Derek Jacobi, Patrick Stewart, Sian Phillips, Brian Blessed…Christopher Biggins, who must have been filming Porridge at the same time. Quite the double.

The Devil’s Plan on Netflix: a Korean reality show based on just skill and strategy games.
Interesting enough although the instructions for most games are quite complicated to follow to begin with. Also no advantage at all for physical strength and endurance which always ruins Physical 100 in the end.

Baby Reindeer is so good and the Piers Morgan interview with her last night whilst being quite uncomfortable at times due to the woman clearly being mentally ill was an incredible watch as well. It's made me want to go back to the Hawley Arms

Do NOT watch Triangle of Sadness, recently released on Netflix.

A promising start quickly goes downhill into the most incoherent pile of sh*te I think I've ever seen. The last hour looks like it's been edited by a madman in a hurry.

Dire.

Suffering since 1978.
