Klopp For The Kop As Brendan Faces Chop Sunday, 13th Sep 2015 11:56 I make no bones about it I'm adopting the same tactics Brendan Rodgers used with Saints last summer as I try to unsettle Jurgen Klopp.
Hopefully Brendan Rodgers will be feeling a sense of karma in the next week or so as he faces a barrage of media speculation about which club he will or won't be at in the near future.
Rodgers used the media to "encourage" Saints players to go to Anfield, Dejan Lovren famously declared his "head was already at Liverpool" a strange thing as there had been no bid at that stage just media speculation.
Now Brendan Rodgers is about to get a dose of his own medicine with Liverpool supporters demanding on social media that he go.
The man they want is Jurgen Klopp who is available and the Liverpool fans are demanding that he not only gets his head in Liverpool pretty damn quick but the rest of his body too.
Rodgers in my opinion is an odious man who certainly did not behave in an ethical way and his comments about Southampton Football Club at the time were both arrogant and unnecessary.
So for me the fact that he has taken Liverpool backwards in the last 12 months and that his work in the transfer market has been appalling to such an extent that he is a laughing stock, is a small consolation for what he did last year. I am not whinging that our players went to Liverpool, that is football, it was just the way that Brendan Rodgers did business.
So I will have a wry smile as the rumour mill hots up and when Rodgers gets the chop, I will raise a glass to the fate of someone who behaves in a selfish and nasty way and has found that if you live by the sword you die by it.
The only place Rodgers will probably be missed is the village of Marchwood where locals will miss the sight of Brendan sat in his favourite tree overlooking Saints Staplewood training ground.

Yes he may have behaved poorly but Saints banked £60 million plus off his dealings. Managers don't last forever and Koeman may be lured elsewhere. Rodgers had great success until Liverpool. If Saints are looking for a manager in future and he's available........Stranger things have happened.

Donn't be nasty to him... He was our 'Sugar Daddy!' (except for the Clyne deal)

Stop this right now! He's of Great Character! Scousehampton need to keep him forever! He's the best Trojan Horse since.......well, the Trojan Horse. We want to move ahead while they slide down the Prem. We can't do that if he leaves! Nick, you would be better off spending your time promoting Klopp as Koeman's replacement in a couple of years! Remember, our owner speaks the same language, and Saints fans are not a bunch of self-entitled whingers!

Liverhampton look very poor even the ever dependable Clyne was all at sea yesterday against Utd, Brenda remains my favourite to be the first managerial casualty in the prem this season and Poch just behind him not because I detest the pair of them but because they are underhand in there manners and way above their station, wow that was polite lol, I see Liverhampton are the fifth most expensively assembled team in Europe, and Spuds are ninth, so how can these men not be accountable for winning nothing, but as the previous post has mentioned keep Brenda in the job a little longer it is great watching them flounder, coyr

PaulVW, you're talking sh!te. He never had any success. 1 sacking, and one where he was allowed to walk instead. Then lived of Roberto Martinez' infrastructure for a season. He's a chancer who's now being found out. He'll get the same reaction as Joe Royle did when he was mooted in the press for us. Your suggestion has caused me to have a mini sick.

It's going to be a close run thing between Rodgers, Pochettino and Mourinho if things don't pick up soon for those clubs. I thought it was unbelievable that LVG came out and said Man U weren't expecting to win the title this season. What is that idiot paid to do? You can't spend that kind of money and not be ready to go for the title.

Interesting to see Brenda allegedly used Gerrard to tap players up, extracts from Gerrards one book with regards to Willian and Kroos. I wonder if any of the ex Saints players were approached in this way.

Six games in just four weeks, with four of them against sides also in the bottom six. By March we should be either well clear of danger, or even deeper in the sh*t. With Danny Cowley’s U’s still unbeaten, and looking stronger game on game, I’m sure it’ll be the former, but first we have to do our bit to consign Steve ‘Sour Grapes’ Cotterill’s FGR back to non-league.
