That'd why Marti is a good manager and you...aren't. Part of getting a good position in the league is squad spirit. Players see how he treats everyone, not just those playing well currently. Sure he can be ruthless if you're not at the level but he always gives people chances to improve things, hence our fantastic team spirit.
I agree with all of this. It was the most confident and complete performance from Chair this season, and I wouldn't even have started him as I thought he looked knackered after Coventry, but he looked almost unplayable last night at times. Also agree the players you mentioned were excellent.
What a joy for our fans who deserve it after supporting the team through a terrible early start.
Not sure I'd start Chair for this one. He was running on fumes at the end of the Cov match. Apparently Derby can't play through the middle but have decent CBs. Wouldn't risk leaving Paal isolated on the left as Chair doesn't currently track back. Morgan moves the ball quicker so prefer him against a resolute defence.
He's not just someone who can only write putting out the cones on his CV either. He's done the hard yards too. He's been a National League manager, guiding Kidderminster to the play offs. He's been Assistant/first team coach to several managers, including moonliighting for Republic of Ireland at the time as doing that same role of Assistant Manager for us.
He took over a struggling Birmingham side and led them to their highest points total for years and then guided a struggling Blackburn side to safety. He also had both the latter teams in improbable play off positions. He's got more credibility than many of the marqee names that keep getting jobs.
Really enjoyed Conclave. Sumptuously filmed and a bit like 'The Wire' did so brilliantly, laid bare the similar political manoeuvering that takes place in all institutions, even religions. Jesus would have thrown them all out of the Temple. Isabella Rosellini made the absolute most of her underwritten part. Tucci and Fiennes had a ball with it.
Enjoyed A Real Pain but was expecting a bit more from it.
No wonder this battered and bruised fanbase love Marti like their favorite family member. We deserve every minute of his calming and inspirational presence.
I'm pleased when they're desperate to get on. Jonathan Varane also came rushing up when they put Colback on and the coach had to say, no Jack. His face fell a bit...
