I was at the game yesterday. Thoroughly entertaining AND I saw a win at Loftus road this season.
My day was made by my daughter scoring at the loft end at Halftime. She plays for the U12's and they were on ball girl duties for the day.
The club look after the youngsters really well. When the game was over the girls n=mixed with the ladies team and had a lovely group picture taken.
Not one player stuck up their own arse unlike most men playing to the same levels!
We really should advertise these games better. It would be great to have to girls shooting into a full lower loft for instance!
P.S. I usually sit in the Upper Loft front row of the west paddock. Very different perspective of the game. And I got to touch the ball more than my daughter did LOL
As one of our greatest turns 80 today it got me thinking.
From teams pre Premier League which would cope best with the style of play, VAR and all the other bull5hit we have to put up with (well not us per se!) these days?
Wimbledon - 1988 lol QPR -1975-76 Arsenal 1989 Man Utd - late 80's/early 90's ANy liverpool teaam thru 70's and 80's
At the end of October i join the 50 club. My wife and two daughters are taking me to Barcelona for three nights. Unfortunately Barca are away that weekend.
Any recommendations of things to do - never been there before but the wife has - so We'll already know about the obvious bits. Good places to eat etc will be greatly received.
I had a £20 acca on 7 or 8 teams for a payout of approx £900.
Every result was going for me in the 87th minute. Most by more than two or more goals so ignored the £350 cash out............ then Dykes scores for ten man QPR and the bet becomes history.
