Amazing how peoples opinion of a player changes once he gets to play a few games.
Lets be honest our players have been very poorly managed.
Take for instance the Burnley game,a FA Cup 4th round,the manager selects a team without our best goalkeeper and Onucchu who has just started to score he leaves on the bench till the 67 min,plus he starts with 4 wing backs and one centre back, little wonder our players form has gone backwards.
Sulemana has pace to unsettle most teams and Onucchu can be a big threat in the box if nothing else.
Should have paid compensation to S.Wednesday and brought Danny Rohl here,probably not saved us from relegation but given time would have rebuilt us.

Just seen his hat trick,not bad.
There seems a few good young players playing for our youth.
Start bringing them into the first team,sit them on the bench and feed them in.

Sadly he lost me with his team selection on Saturday.
He had a great chance to give the fans some hope and failed.
He clearly hasn't a clue what he is doing and SR have failed yet again to find a manager to give the fans hope. [Post edited 10 Feb 9:21]

What was he thinking of when he selected the team yesterday?
4 Wing Backs
1 Central Defender
No Centre Forward
Leaves Ramsdale on the bench.
Onuachu on the bench after him starting to score.
Bella-Kotchap if he isnt going to play him why sit him on the bench?
Wood,he has looked good when he has played, left on the bench.
Grønbæk and Archer left on the bench till the 86 min.
Smallbone what was he supposed to do,at 82min?
Lallana why did we even get him ?
Sugawara must just be confused as to what he has to do.
All this in a game that should have given us another win and a place in the 5th Round of the FA Cup.
I have watched Saints for a long time now but I must confess I have rarely seen such a mess.
Come to think of it I cant remember Saints closing a whole stand for a 4th round FA Cup tie. [Post edited 9 Feb 21:02]

Completely lost faith in this manager now.
What shocking team selection.
Terrible way to treat loyal fans looking for a decent cup run.
Don’t want to hear the excuses now.

The little we could get out of this season was decent Cup Run and what do we get,4 full backs and no central striker.
What did he expect,Sulemana and KWP to run the ball into the net?
Why Ramsdale not in goal?
We have managed to pull another Managerial Joker out the pack.
Get this season over its painful.

I remember going to a cinema in town to watch a live show of a Saints cup tie at Old Trafford and seeing a perfectly good goal ruled out,I think it was Neil Shiperery(sorry about spelling)who scored it.Same again with Marco Gab. goal at Wembley.Nothing changes. |

That's a good point,it was considered getting to Wembley was the pinnacle of the FA Cup.
Now because 4 teams have been there already, on the way, its not, it seems that its not so significant. |
