"Another four goals conceded, another superbly damning xG scoreline: Southampton 0.13-4.01 Brighton. When the good news from your Saturday afternoon is that your team probably should have lost by six or seven goals at home and didn’t, it must be tempting to take the rest of the season off.
"I’m honestly getting sick of watching Southampton and writing about them. They are a joke because they play as if they are in mid-table comfort. I understand that heads have gone down because relegation has looked a certainty from October onwards and it must be hard to play in front of supporters who are going out of habit and grim loyalty rather than expectation.
"But my goodness: try to give them something to be proud of. Nobody is calling for prison-rule football, but my goodness it is frustrating to watch how easy opposition teams have it against Southampton, and I’m not even a supporter. There seems to be no plan for creating chances or stopping their opponents creating them, but worse than that there seems to be no ambition to make life harder for the other team.
"Nobody tracks runs. Nobody seems to want to sprint to put a tackle in. Nobody wants to defend for their lives other than as a tardy reaction to a mistake, either in technical prowess or concentration. Everybody seems to act as if ugly football is beneath them, rather than a typical ingredient of a promoted club battling to stay up (or, in this case, avoid points records).

what you have forgotten is the premiership cash for this season £150m last year ( parachute) £75m and the year before £125m that £350m take away the £70m down leaves us £280m up where it gone ? |

came from the reading academy which is where crystal palace get their players from , he would be given a chance at palace and probably banging them in if he went there , they seem to go stale at saints waiting around while we keep trying expensive reserves from other clubs . could he be any worse than brereton diaz, armstrong, archer ??? |

i wouldnt care if the club folded , flipping embarressing anyway . I dont know what they are teaching the younger teams either as they are getting worse and worse as well so the future dont look bright .
gone are the stars we used to produce i obviously grew up in the golden era 70's and 80's most of our youth dont even make southern league level nowadays let alone premiership.
what has a new stadium given us ?since moving to the new stadium We had a little period under strachan then relegation after relegation then poch, koeman at top level but then sold out to the chinese who sold us up the pearl river. most of the time has been crap. crap football, crap players, crap chairman. this club could end up like Oldham once top flight now national league average. |

You know when your team is done for when all the club website has a goal of the month competition for the Academy because the 1st team is so pathetic. And all they keep showing is goals from yesteryear only depressing you even more how bad we actually are now.
This current team would struggle in league 2 let alone championship next year. Benali and Le tiss must doing there nuts in having to watch this dross . i dont blame juric he has been dealt a naff hand and obviously some sulky players. How un professional sulking because you cant leave when its you that got the team in this predicament. and being paid 40k a week wow. |

2. Team are playing awfull have been for 6 months
3. Not one player makes you get of your seat in excitment anymore
