Swansea City must no longer gather bit part players for the sake of it
at 19:44 27 Dec 2024

Cotterill is coming along quite nicely at Swindon. Comments in the article below suggest he has kicked on and improved markedly over the last few weeks. This is what we want to hear. All the posters want him to stay on.

Nothing at all from what has been published. Only a small amount less than the Trust's total investment in 2002.

A large number of Welsh ad Swansea football fans sing ethnic slurs against the ethnic group I align myself with. These slurs and suggestions are filthy and very insulting and illegal.

I call it out as moronic and get very little support. Its the mentality. At one time abusing garth Crooks was acceptable. That was the mentality then. I saw it and heard it.

I then get accused of insulting Swansea people. Cymru am byth long live the Senedd.

Many of this forum want to abolish to Senedd. It is generally run by Welsh people and the anti Senedd want it to be run from London. English people.

I pointed out that the leaders of many English cities are Asian. Local people to that city with big Asian communities. They vote for their own where many Welsh want someone else to run their affairs. This is a weak mentality in my opinion.

I challenge 'the regulars' putting out anti Welsh agenda and sometime I criticise my own people for their unwise actions. 'The regulars' do not like it and as always get personal just like you. I did not even remember your moniker or question your character.

Their whole back four after the sub were linked with transfers to Swansea over recent years.

Dunne, Clark Salter, Fox, Ashby.

The Trust are owners and failed to be involved in this investment because they did not wheel and deal..It is not in their make up. They are unable to fully fill their brief due to a fear of investing and dealing in their shares.

With the protected shares they never will. Deckchairs out.

The Tata plans were well established well before workers finding the fate. The coal at Flos y fan was mined without planning permission and times to close when the Furness s did.

The WAG allowed the mine to close at exactly the same time. All planed. Ineos was good to go until Welsh folk voted away they future work.

Planning permission is needed for the council for flats. The land I had permission for use as sporting arena presumably. New flat could be stopped by the ratepayers if they kick up a big fuss.

I give it to you straight and not surprisingly you cannot stomach it.

I am not banned because the owner has cahones unlike the weedy people on SCFC2 who folded when the clique on there threatened the owner.

Calling people "Asian" is not in any way offensive to anyone. Carry on walking on eggshells until you figure it out.

London car attack.
at 13:39 27 Dec 2024

The perpetrator was a local man from Herrfordshire not a Jihadist. Four people injured.

Anthony Gilheaney had form and was jailed for 5 years back in 2018. It seems to be the same person. Clearly the spell inside did not make him wiser.

I do not think I have called Swansea people dumb. The members of the Trust were extremely passive and allowed their leaders to miss the chance of cashing in £20m. No one is blamed or held accountable. Voting for Brexit was not too clever.

No one has explained their logic which means they are not fit to make any decisions of significance.

Ospreys play a bad brand of rugby which no one wants to watch. This is the problem. Everything was set up for them to be a success. A modestly sized stadium, car parking restaurants presumably low rents.

The only problem was the product on the field and the non development of players. They have voted to shrink. Shrinkage as a long term strategy cannot work.

Sadiq Khan Is of Asian heritage. It is a fact.

I do not walk on egg shells when talking about Asians. Why should I? The big English cities have big Asian communities. Some of my h neighbours are Asian. I speak Turkish myself to a decent level and lived in Asia for 7 years.

I tell you what racism is, and racist chants are sung by Swansea fans home and away. It is an embarrassment to me.

West Welsh people do not understand racism because it confuses them. They even get nervous saying Asian.

Its good that you do not support the abolition of the Senedd. Thank you for clarifying that.

PFi was a Tony Blair Government policy if i recall it correctly and not specific to Wales. People can elect who they want. If people want "useless fools " then that is what they will get.

The Scots took the decision to ditch the Labour party two decades ago and may be moving back towards them.

I favour more power for Government bodies not less. The 'cutting of red tape' has weakened govt bodies that appear unable to prevent the mass denigration of our environment especially rivers and near coastal seas. They seem toothless.

Swansea City v Queens Park Rangers : Match day Thread
at 01:09 27 Dec 2024

Many comments on a threadbare squad and weak bench. Is this true?

While it is true there is some inexperience of championship football all the players bar Lloyd and Abdullai have more than 50 games.

Good keeper by all accounts Mclaughlin.

Defence: Christie, Njoe an On, Naughton

Midfield: Fulton ,Abdullai, Lloyd

Forwards. MPH and Vipotnik.

Academy kids not called on Govea, Parker, Bates Wilson.

Stoke and Swansea are in the same mid table position win no parachutes. They have wasted over £100m+ more than Swansea and no better off.

Ince, Woods Allen, Wilmott, Baker , Surridge and many more. They out bid Swansea frequently.

You are probably right on the matter of the pitch. It may be possible to extend pitch life without the 18st monsters churning it up.

I doubt the Ospreys will be with us in 10 years but I could be wrong.

I agree about the caps rule. all Welsh eligible players should be able to play.

The Swansea.com set up was ideal for synergies. If Ospreys become successful the St Helens stadium will be redundant. It is included somewhere imagination incorporating the old s cricket bowl I might give it a one credit but the new design is cheap and nasty.

The same mindset the same logic. The 2016 sale. It was not the sale that fans objected to but the " way or was carried out." I have heard that one so many times.

Now Cardiff, Llanelli and Newport are standalone and the best "region" the Ospreys cannot get more than 7000 for a derby. They even. Play at Bridgend sometimes.

The product is poor.

Not at all. There is nothing at all holding Welsh people back only a reluctance for self determination..

South Wales was one of the poorest regions of the EU and was. getting EU backing. An Ineos factory was laid on by the Senedd to give jobs to soon to be redundent steel workers.

Welsh people voted out and many like you favour all decision taken by non Welsh people. People blame the Senedd for their own stupidity
