The irony of the amount of times you’ve pounded those railway tracks magnificently following our lot and spending thousands of pounds is not lost.
Personally I think the plant should be subsided .
There’s a lot of jobs to be replaced there at probably a bigger cost to the taxpayer than shutting it down . |

Thought this squad would kick on after the end of last season but injuries , some debatable signings and another horrendous start have put paid to that . Was hoping for 60 points and thought it was realistic after a great winter but frankly I’d take getting to 50 now with what players we have available.
Disappointed again . No question of not renewing though . We plough on . |

Watched the Portsmouth, Leeds game on ITV . Very decent game and not surprised they’re getting those numbers .
If our game against Leeds had been shown on ITV , I as a punter would have been well pleased to have tuned into it. |

Saw Paul McGee play for Rovers but never for Rangers.
He was a star in the great Sligo team that won the championship back in 76/77

Was 15 . Pints of lager top . 4 pints , 20 major , price of the dance hall , then chips afterwards . All for under a fiver . There was four days in the weekend for the next twenty years .
Family and the dreaded hangovers put paid to it all.
Still enjoy the odd few pints of Guinness though . |
