Be interesting to see how Edwards does at right back and how we cope without Dunne's presence. Leicester didn't go very well without Jimmy......

Surely the club must have a replacement lined up if Jimmy goes - really fear for the rest of the season if we end up with Ashby at RB for the rest of the season. Could easily end up back in relegation trouble |

Dunne also played well at right CB recently - he struggles more when asked to play left centreback.
I guess it will boil down to money - if Sheff Utd offer him a great deal that we can't compete with, then at his age I would expect him to go. Hopefully as part of this, the club can get a reasonable fee for him, given that he only has 6 months left on his contract |

Thought we struggled to build any momentum. Weds were happy to commit fouls and break up the play and could do it continually as the ref didn't really punish them. Gave plenty of free kicks but they should have had maybe 4 or 5 bookings.
We kept Bannan mostly quiet for first hour but as we tired he grew into the game
Paterson is just a cowardly cheat - his supposed injury in the 2nd half when he sat down in the centre circle, then a couple of minutes later he magically sprints into the box and almost scores, then 2 mins later does actually score. |

Rudoni moved from Huddersfield not Birmingham, so that might cover some of Huddersfields recent spending. It was also reported that AFC Wimbledon received around £1 million as part of a sell on clause, when Huddersfield originally bought him. |

Paal went off injured on Saturday - has anyone seen any news on whether it was just precautionary or anything more serious?
Maybe, if Paal is out for a while, that might change who would might look to bring in on loan as cover at left back?? |

Well put.
For me, I went as it's a doable trip from Yorkshire where I live, a ground I hadn't been to before and I want to be there when we eventually win another FA Cup 3rd round tie!
I would have preferred a stronger line-up but wasn't surprised by the team that was picked. |

JCS is a good centreback but I think we need a more physical partner such as Cook / Dunne alongside him. Maybe Edwards is too similar to JCS and doesn't have the physical presence that Cook / Dunne and maybe even Morrison bring.
I think in some other games were Ashby has made errors, Cook has bailed him out whereas yesterday Edwards wasn't able to do that. |

Maybe we need to take the Vardy approach - make Madsen drink 3 cans of Red Bull 15 mins before a match and with all that caffeine, he'll charge around. |

The support were fantastic -first time I've ever shouted 'Rooney, Rooney' at a match.
Thanks for the parking tips also. I ended up in the Saffron Lane Athletics Stadium car park, easy to find and quick to get in and out. |
