For me the biggest mistake Gauge and the board made was not telling stakeholders the parlous state of the clubs finances. We were told that we would breakeven and that their was money available for Stockdale to build a competitive squad. We didn't know that board members would have to bolster the coffers with their own money (as an aside how did Gauge obtain enough money to be in the position to put money into the club, because his business acumen has been called into question).
Taking into consideration we've won 13 and lost 10 games how much of this is confirmation bias from those that were dubious in the first place? How many who genuinely backed JM with no reservations are calling for him to receive his P45
What do you mean by that, I was under the impression that mentally the squad is in a good place. Although the last game I saw live not via stream was Worthing away.
Sat on a train from London to Manchester thought I would start a match Thread. I notice there hasn't been any pre match interview with any players or members of the coaching staff. Hopefully that isn't due to a lack of confidence within the squad about getting anything from this game.
Actually I thought even though the pitch was the not the most conducive for passing it around/out from the back we did so with aplomb. If only our players were as confident shooting at the oppositions' goal as they are passing it about on front of their own.
Jim has alluded to a blue print that has been adopted by other teams that have successfully made it out of National League. Can anyone enlighten me to the designs of said blueprint and examples of the teams that have used it successfully?
Within the three year plan I'd like to know has Jim been given specific targets for this season other than make the playoffs? Making second or third with a points tally in the high 80s or 90s is a tad different to scraping 7th with 70ish. If the latter is the target, just missing out by a few points might be seen as a success, especially if it shows improvement from last season.
Was just reading Mullin is out of favour (a fringe player) at Wrexham. I know it's a silly suggestion but wouldn't it be great to get him on loan till the end of the season.
