Brilliant write up, Northernr. Like being there.

Why you did deduct Illy two marks, I don't understand though That was a 9 display in my book.

What other teams play in blue & white hoops?

Norwegian second tier club Ranheim from Trondheim are this season playing in a hooped jubilee kit as a tribute to their original kit from 1921. The locals quickly named the kit "Sing-Sing" after the famous American prison.

I always thought the back of this model is something we should consider for ours...

Heart v Gary & the Pacemakers

Will Hearts natural flowing football (4-3-3) stand a chance against Garys more steady and boring approach (4-4-2)?

Nico Hämäläinen has a Finnish name, dad and caps and an American mother, upbringing and U23 call-up.

We were so close to have a player from Trinidad and Tobago too. Step forward Bobby Zamora.

"Zamora was watched by the Trinidad and Tobago coach, Leo Beenhakker, who also spoke to his club manager at the time Alan Pardew. However, Zamora turned down the chance of playing in the 2006 FIFA World Cup with Trinidad and Tobago, saying in August 2005, "Trinidad is my dad's country and to play in the finals would be a dream but West Ham are more important. I am only thinking about the club at the moment and do not want to be distracted from that."
