Does anyone have any actual facts or information to why he hasn't put pen to paper yet?

I.e, he's just finalising the deal or he's in talks with another club?

Be gutted if we lost him.
Been a massive part in the squad since he arrived.

I'm sure Hilly already has 3 or 4 names in mind. 1st July is the key date when loads of players will become officially free agents. I suspect we should hear something very shortly after that if not before. The key is to have everone in place a couple of weeks before the trip to Tenerife.

The players are going to Tenerife on the 27th June (2 weeks today),so to get the full benefit from that trip i would imagine Hilly will be looking to recruit one or two within the next fortnight.

I think Hilly stated his desire some weeks ago regarding having most of his players in place prior to this trip.

Yep, we don't want a load of day trippers going on holiday at the Club's expense as in the past....remember we can't afford a very cheap pot to p*ss in.
