I criticised him on here after the last tow games, his touch, his passing, his decision making etc were way off what we know he can do.
I obviously wasn't there today so I've no idea how he played but he has certainly scored a very important goal at a very important time for us so kudos to him.

Whilst I am most definitely not a fan of some of his on-pitch stuff he is a constant threat and always seems our most likely goalscorer. I suppose he could be described as a bit of a 'broken toy'. If Hill can get him firing on all cylinders then we undoubtedly have a very good player, or very sale-able asset on our hands. |  |

I think he could definitely blossom under Hill, Hill seems to have already coaxed some of his antics out of his game, and he seems to be playing with a smile on his face nowadays. Things weren't going right recently for Grant, always seemed to be forcing the issue too much, but is always a constant threat and should be the first name on the team sheet when available, would be very happy to have Grant/Hendo/Grimes next season up top. | |

I'm sure Hill will want players around who want to improve and have a successful career and are prepared to work for that. I hope Grimes, Grant and Tutte all fall into that category. I doubt all three do though. | |

Its not too late for Grimes, he's only 26, if Hill sees something in him, he will want to keep him, he's talked many times of Grimes in that he would be happy to keep him. I think given Dales record of nurturing strikers, Grimes will want to work with Hill, for the good of his career. | |
