However bad georgie's scoring record is - that must be a mistake - what were his 1st goal odds? 18/1 ?

Rene Howe, late pen, to possibly give Torquay a point. As for Dale, it is a clean sheet, but another failure to score under KH. The stats look fairly even - similar number of shots, penalties etc. And keeps the gap with the 23rd team the same. Don't know how many Daleys were in the 2929 crowd, but well done to them on a cold cold night. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

Best part was listening to Steve Eyre almost willing the ball in. As to the game, its another point, a clean sheet, so has to be a positive. Is it just me that is getting concerned Grant is being read way too easily, grafts well but he needs to be pushed further in field.

In years to come it'll be remembered as one of the worst ever. Possibly due to the journey back, but also a match devoid of quality.

Yes, even the ref was devoid of quality. Any time Grant got anywhere near his man the ref whistled for a foul in York's favour. They were honest 50/50 affairs.I am sure there is a big dossier banded about the refs union on Grant now. He is given zero tolerance.Towards the end of the match nearly every silly decision went against us. A bit more quality from Donnelly with his one on one with the goalie and there would have been a different story. Put Grant in that situation and it's a goal. I hope Donnelly "doesn't revert back to type" as KH puts it.

I'd prefer to have had my left testicle eaten by rabid mice than listen to that cretin give his views.
