Will we get the 10 points we need to avoid joining the 5 worst ever prem teams points totals? I'm not sure currently, although we aren't going to clear 30 points let alone approach 40pts...

First thing Monday morning the club should be ringing around clubs in Russia trying desperately to get rid of some of this tat whilst their window stays open.

We need 6 more to beat our own record from the 68/9 season.

Remember when we used to pick which game would see us get promoted two years ago?
Time for the opposite now. I think we'll lose at Reading and that will be that.

Bare bones.

No centre forward and the set pieces consist of lump it to the big man, absolute pony. Nailed on for a 5-0 loss with a sending off.

and the ref went along with it....

but thats twice the swansea players have called for bookings... its what riled Adel... for me, asking for a booking should be a booking, its as unsporting as it gets.. even a red i would agree with, would soon cut it out..the card waving

Don't worry lads, we've spent the whole week practicing a 45 minutes of Zamora playing from 2-0 down.

The cones won 6-0.

I can see us getting maybe one more win and 4 or 5 draws at best.

Fulham away, IMO is when the 'win 9 of the next 10' brigade will give up.

Stoke to relegate us mathematically IMO.

Exactly why Taarabt got the 'ump with De Guzman, Swansea seem to think they're refereeing this game & the ref is doing nothing to put them in their place, in which case we should stoop to Swansea's level & do exactly the same.

'arry needs to make some big changes here. After the 2nd goal I'd have told Mackie & Townsend to stay in the Swansea half to support Taarabt, don't even bother defending just occupy the Swansea defence & try to push them backwards away from our goal.

Poll: Who’s better?

I doubt he'll be in the mood today!

Either the Stoke or Reading game will see us down for me.

To lose to them and put us down will be the pits, of all the clubs to send us down, please not them.
I see their game at Stoke is 0-0, just waiting for another last minute goal for them to pull further away.

Heard Jenas described as the 'Jack of no trades' once and it always seemed true - has no outstanding attributes and isn't very good at anything.

The 'how we will survive' thread will be updated later and we'll be beating Utd instead go survive along with people being told to go support Chelsea if they don't believe we'll survive.

That's what swansea likes ! playing a defensive team so they can string nice passes together.
Like i said earlier last week in a thread , Mbia and Derry in central midfield will give Swansea a field day.

exactly.

Is all well and good HR and everyone saying we should play Derry and Mbia but neither can pass. We just can't keep the ball. And Jenas....absolutely nothing today apart from a few mis controls.

And whilst this is going on Granero is on the bench and Ale is in Italy. Both are much better midfielders than Derry and Mbia. Much better all round midfielders.
