Got to agree with this, can't blame him, decent grub, weather and football ;-) Cutting his losses I'd say. Got caught out and sold a dud.

Playing him on the right wing didn't help. You could almost feel the 'what the hell am I doing here' vibes off him yesterday. Couldn't blame him either.

Never knowingly right.

Don't think marooning him wide right has helped his mood

I read somewhere that Real have a buy back clause, the idea being is that if he shines he goes back for what we paid, I think its unlikely we would sell in our current situation to anyone other than back to Real. The problem IMHO in the last two games is that Hughes has played him wide right in a 4-4-2 he has no pace, this is not his position, there may be an element of lack of belief, lack of knowledge how to play the position and a sense the manager just does not know what he is doing

It's actually getting quite interesting counting the tag-teaming WUMs. Not that difficult once you get used to it.

I suspect that Granero is a good player and professional who has found himself in an awful situation at a club in full self-destruct mode. I don't blame him for putting in worse performances as the weeks go by.......... let's see how he plays if we get a decent manager in this week.

I don't give a fck if he does.

Gets paid an awful lot of money to play football, not sulk because our daft manager played him out of position.

Bollox to him, and all the others not putting in a shift!

I don't personally put him in the 'doesn't give a fk' category. Play him in the middle and uou have a Champions' League player. Play him wide and you have a Championship one. God forbid Hughes gives up the ever successful 4-4-1-1.

Granero starting on the right wing yesterday was the single most stupid thing i have ever seen a manager do since Hughes did the same thing last week. if we played Faurlin on the left wing he would look equally as shite as Granero did yesterday All down to the manager that one

Playing a classy central midfielder who learnt his trade in La Liga marooned out wide defies belief.
No wonder he looked cheesed off. Showed a bit of spark early in the second half before the whole thing collapsed and died.

Hughes seems to have a knack of annoying every player - very odd character.

First few games he showed what a class act he is.

Two months of being motivated and then played hopeless out of position by Hughes and now look at him.

Even with a change of manager it is going to take a long time (and a lot of money) to sort out the mess we are in.
