Fernandes Sunday AM: 09:53 - Oct 7 with 7226 views | Orthodox_Hoop | For all QPR fans. Fans who analyse properly. I am not changing anything. And all shareholders agree. No team except the first game has outplayed us. We need a consistent 4 defenders not changing every week esp left and right back. Mark is the right man.

On his Twitter account. All four journalists on Sky's Sunday Supplement have also just said that they think we will be fine and that we should stick with Hughes

If results had gone as we expected we should have around 7 points, so as it stands we are only 5 points below expectations. Glass half full Got to give Hughes at least another 5 games but even then it will cost us dearly to get another manager. Hughes has brought in his own staff at every level from first team coaches to academy level. How many would have to go with him? We could be talking around £15m not to mention the costs of bringing in a whole new staff and high profile manager. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Sorry way off the mark he only would have about a 14 months left on his contract. Still say give him 5 games to get at least another 7 points.
Fernandes Sunday AM: on 11:04 - Oct 7 with 5628 views | N12Hoop | I think TF is right to a certain extent, but besides the SWPPark v TaarabtHoilett issue there is still a big question over tactics and how slow he is to change things when it's obvious it is going wrong, eg West Ham. Nevertheless, let's see how we go after the international break (how often have we said this in the last couple of years?).

Fernandes Sunday AM: on 11:27 - Oct 7 with 5538 views | BlackCrowe | TF is right. Can't believe after all the managerial merrygoround of the Briatore/GP era, several seem to want to another scalp to add to the colletion when only a sixth of the season has elapsed. MH might or might not be right man, but we don't know that yet IMO.

Not many goals in that team, and if Zamora got injured who could replace him in the lone striker role. We have a natural goalscorer in Cisse, we have to build our team to get the best from him in my opinion. Cesar Bosingwa-Ferdinand-Nelsen-Traore Park-Granero-Faurlin-Taarabt Cisse-Zamora

Fernandes Sunday AM: on 11:55 - Oct 7 with 5432 views | adhoc_qpr | To be fair that is a bit patronizing from TF saying 'fans who analyse properly' and then following it up with the falsehood that we haven't been outplayed despite being completely humped by West Ham and West Brom this week alone... Still it's his decision and if he wants to stick with Hughes that is that. I think it's definitely a possibility that Hughes will do so badly it will force them to reconsider though.
Fernandes Sunday AM: on 12:13 - Oct 7 with 5375 views | Nov77 | Tweet from david mcintyre: Fernandes and Hughes are friends (which is why MH got job) and TF in awe of him. So wouldn't hold your breath.

The Midefield is too lighweight again. If you wana include Cisse than do, but have him as a lone striker, with Granero, Faurlin and Tarbs eye for a pass/through ball, Djib should be able to get on the end of em. A 2 man midfield is too lightweight though IMO, and by bringing in Diakite/Mbia It offers more cover so we can have Junior instead of Park!
Fernandes Sunday AM: on 14:15 - Oct 7 with 5096 views | BAWHoops | Issue is that Hughes wants us to control the game. So Park, Granero and Faurlin are all great for that. We get thew ball to the final 3rd and we break down, Zamora and Cisse don't move enough. Putting Taarabt and Hoilett alongside them is essential. 442 is dead, we shouldn't play it, we don't have the strikers for it. The key is having 3 up top in Taarabt, Cisse, Hoilett as oppose to asking SWP and Park to maraud which they will never do. Team should be ......................Cesar.................... Bosingwa....Nelsen.......Ferdinand...Traore .....................Mbia.......................... ...............Granero.......Park................ Hoilett...................................Taarabt .....................Cisse............................ I'd even be inclined to play Diakite and Mbia just to give Granero the platform he needs to penetrate higher up the pitch

Fernandes Sunday AM: on 14:21 - Oct 7 with 5079 views | jamois | Fernandes has missed the point. Yes we're missing defenders, but it is inexcusable to play a full back with no leg speed TWICE in a row without learning from being destroyed by it first time around. You pay a guy THAT much money to make a mistake like THAT??!! How about Bosingwa and SWP at FBs just for the one game? Why not think out the box? We have other, better options with some creative thinking and some good remedial coaching, and if he'd tried something else I really feel we would not have conceded against west hame or the 1st half goals yesterday.

Fernandes Sunday AM: on 18:27 - Oct 7 with 4738 views | Hunterhoop | Why does everyone want Mbia ahead of Diakite?? Have we forgotten how superb he was last season and how improved we were on Mon when he came on. I know his disciplinary record is bad. That is why it's great to have Mbia as back up. But Diakite should start, certainly based on how bad Mbia was in the first half 'protecting' the defence.

Ok, how about... Cesar Bosingwa - Ferdinand - Nelsen - Traore Granero - Mbia - Faurlin Taarabt Cisse - Zamora The midfield 3 would have to stay tight & shuffle across quickly when defending to make up for being narrow, and Taarabt would have to make sure he created width with his free-role but it could get the best out of our best players. Park is good cover for Granero/Faurlin, Hoilett is good cover for Taarabt and both offer optiions off the bench to change it if necessary.
