Looking at flying to bangkok next week. looking at flights with either emirates, etihad, royal Jordanian, prices all pretty similar just not sure which airline to go with, heard emirates and etihad are decent don't know much about royal Jordanian but they seem to be the cheapest. Any advice welcome.

Not sure if Jordanian are 'dry', and have to change in Amman. All others are decent.

fly thai reguarly

good airline eco a bit crunched up

its only Thai, Eva or BA that fly direct and I think China Eastern

Thai or Eva best bet

Eva has premium economy for about £300 extra

Check out opodo, west east as Thairngers recommends or trailfinders who will do you good deals on hotels

Etihad are good, although you'll most likely have to change at Abu Dhabi.

I've just returned from there myself but i flew to Phuket. I miss Thailand...

I am going with Jet Airways on the 3rd september - £660 return with change of plane in Mumbai. They are as good as anyone on this route. Good reliable airline with great food.

I got direct to BKK with Eva Airways for £520 a few weeks ago, leaving early December. Eva are the cheapest direct, Etihad the best/cheapest non-direct.

Flew Thai air few months ago. Found them grand, no complaints. Whatever you do go direct if you can afford it. Did a stop over with Gulf Air few years back and wanted to die on the last two hours 2nd leg.

Mate lives out there and rates Etihad & Emirates.

I flew Alitalia and Garuda Indonesia on my trips to BKK, I dont think either fly there direct any more. Both were excellent, you could still smoke on the Alitalia one. It was a few years ago mind.
