The only positive last night were our fans that attended.

On the Telly all you could hear were our lot singing.

The team just packed up after the first goal.

The manager has to go ..now.

Id be surprised if Juric goes during the season. I'm sure SR don't want to admit they made yet another mistake and they'll want to avoid that embarrassment.
We are a total shambles though. No fight, no plan and no indication of what we are trying to do on the pitch.
I knew it was going to be a long season. Even walking from Wembley I was thinking that if we go to the prem with Armstrong up front and Smallbone in midfield we'll be screwed (to name just two!). It seemed obvious, but that's what we did. And we were effectively relegated after 12 games.
One bad decision after another and now we have another weird manager who is no better at selection and tactics than any of us fans. He has not managed to make us harder to beat, or sharper in attack. We just look totally disorganised and unmotivated.

But football is funny. We'll drop to our level of competence and we'll start to be competitive again. We'll score some goals and win some games and we'll all feel better. And we can forget season 24-25 and the utter embarrassment of being the worst team the PL has ever seen.

Spot on with 'The Verdict'.

Second half, reduced intensity, they brought on a load of youngsters and were trying to set up Palmer to score when there were better options. It could have been a lot worse.

The only argument for keeping Juric is that it would presumably cost us money to get rid of him which could be used for next season. I thought that defensively we couldn't have got any worse than we were under Martin but Juric has proved me wrong.

We don't need to sack him as such, put him on gardening leave until we reach the break clause in the summer.

Do we really want to carry on losing by 3/4 goals?
He needs to go and now.
I cant remember ever seeing Saints getting thrashed game after game like is happening now.

I agree with this Nick.
Put Simon Rusk in charge until we can officially get rid of Juric in the Summer at no cost.
We have absolutely nothing to lose by doing this & we could just possibly get the 3 points needed to beat Derby points total of 11.
Can't believe that all we can hope for this season is to get enough points so that we are not going on record as worse team in the history of Premier Lge.
Didn't think it would ever come to this but perhaps we should have expected it under the ownership of SR.

Another managerial cock up by Sport Republic.
Juric could work in the MEGASTORE if we are still paying him.
GET IT OPEN.
No need for him to do a Ralphie.

Get Steve Cooper in to bed himself into the club before next season starts.
Yes I know he not foreign and looks like summat out The Hobbit, but he’s been there and done it in The Championship and still has something to prove.

The Leicester job was stupid on his part.
His connections to Forest made sure he was on a hiding to nothing.

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

Juric looks more to me like the sort of bloke who would greet you when you walk into B & Q, and would direct you to one of the countless aisles when you need some masonry paint.

He looks more of a B & Q man than a Saints Megastore man to me, bae.

Yes agree with this. Simon Rusk had a couple of good results when he was in charge. Get him back now .

He looks like a man whose Mrs has just fúcked off and he’s about to go on a shooting spree.

I agree but also hate the fact that we are yet again talking about changing the manager , also cant see a buyer thinking this club would be a viable business opportunity .
But meanwhile I still call myself a Saints fan .

Goes back to whether Solak would sell Saints without also selling Goztepe and Valenciennes, as I have separately previously mentioned.

The value of the other two clubs will diminish massively without the cash from English football to prop them up.

Which therefore leads me to think that Solak would significantly increase the asking price for Saints if a buyer wishes to buy it on its own.

Southampton Football Club Limited is a separate legal entity ( https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/00053301/fili so in simple legal terms SR could sell the shares it owns in that entity to a new buyer.

Whether they would do is another matter. But looking at the accounts to 2023 it doesn't look like the Club is much of a cash cow for the rest of the group. And mid-table life in The Championship is not a money printing operation either.

I guess too what all the promoted clubs are finding out is that the amount of money needed to put together a squad that can actually compete in the PL is now humungous.

Or he could give us away free with Goztepe

Only Sport Republic could once again replace a manager with a worse one.

Most poorly run clubs would sack Juric now with 10 days before our next game, however we have a bunch of loons in charge of us so I’m fully expecting Juric to stay until at least the end of the season.

We are not poorly run we are a complete and utter shit show, worse then anything Rupert
Lowe did and he got no end of grief ( deservedly so) Dragon is getting off lightly .
